Michigan was a better fit at the time for his skill set.
but Michigan wasn't one. Not when you consider all the talk about transitioning to manball with a roster full of RR recruits.
And legal weed.
Bando partakes in recreational cannabis activities?!
Who doesn't?
I don't understand the downvotes. Why is it a bad thing to say that I don't believe in smoking anything (pot, cigarettes, pipes, etc.)? It's bad for your gums, teeth, lungs, makes you smell, etc. So no, I don't smoke ANYTHING (including cigars) and never will.
never had it, never will
never have, never will. Although I have been high twice in my life. Once was a few years ago at Pine Knob at a Kid Rock concert. There was a blue haze everywhere and it smelled like skunk. I should have worn a gas mask but that would have impeeded my dranking ability.
relatively young. Back in the 60s and 70s in the student section, Cheech would sit on one end of the row, Chong on the other, and they'd pass a foot long doobie back and forth.
Dee Hart: "I've decided to transfer to Colorado State for the *cough* *cough* playing time"
Agree. Nice place. The only drawback I saw was the bloody railroad track through town/campus that had major freight trains going through at odd hours. But maybe Dee slept through it.
Anyway, good luck to Dee. Sure wish he would've sported the winged helmet these past few years.
And huge flash flooding
Between his injury and the insane talent/depth at Bama he was in a tough situation. Transferring seems like the best move.
Sorry - 4 happy hour Rita's = good grammar.
At least someone's having fun tonight. Why don't you start a drinking thread?
They sure aren't spending it on mens basketball.
I wonder if he wonders what if as well....

Dickhead
well played, sir
Picture is the big sign on the wall in the background.
Derrick Henry romping up and down the gridiron the name Dee Hart no longer registers.
....is linked right here (LINK)
According to this, he has indeed finished his degree at Alabama so he will be eligible right off the bat at CSU. It also mentions, and I didn't think about it before, McElwain was Alabama's OC when they nabbed Hart in 2011.
EDIT: Per the response to me, I missed the link - I blame insufficient light in the den plus beer.
Same link is in OP, unless he added it later.
been loaded at TB for awhile but didn't his injury really set him back?
I remember salIvating at the thought of him with Denard and Forcier running RR's spread.
c'est la vie
It was the Army All American game, and I agree he looked small and his speed wasnt that impressive. Never fit the mold of a Saban RB. More of a Rich Rod back.
Hope everything works out for him....

"There's not one player, not one player, since I've been a head coach that I kicked off the team that ever went anywhere and amounted to anything and accomplished anything, playing or academically." - Nick Saban
Isn't that just another way of saying you don't kick anyone off your team that can contribute? As to the academics, I'm certain you didn't let them spend too much time in that arena anyway.
That he's transferring to a school where the guy who recruited him his currently the head coach?
All of the kids who can't stop smoking pot during school should just go to Colorado and CSU. Everybody wins.
Nice try, Matt Wile.
