I'm with you man.  I have no idea how all these former players are getting rock solid info about this coaching search.  I think that many of them are on the internet just like we are, putting 2 and 2 together and just texting everyone that it's a done deal.  That's how we are getting all these "OMG former player says......" threads.

I am sure some do and some dont. But, we don't know who this player is, how long ago he played, who he knows, who he spoke to or the basis of his text.  The tweet doesn't say that a former player who spoke to someone that knows Harbaught said ....  It just says that a former player said that it is gonna be a good new year in A2.

the Harbaugh Camp naively requested that the deal be kept quiet and "unofficial/nothing to see here" until after his last Niner game, but in the meantime the team has been told something and others close to the Camp are buzzing and it will turn out to be an unreasonable request? 

So if he didn't want it to get out until Sunday night, and it does ... Herbstreit'd???

Nah, he no longer considers the 49ers his Damn Strong Football Team.

I went to Ohio University. (The actual OHIO not Ohio State Ohio) and people would show up for the halftime show then leave. I feel I may be in the same boat on the 30th.

I can't post this in its own thread because my point total has been destroyed for the heinous crime of reminding everyone that fans != experts, but....

I'm with my girlfriend visiting her best friend from childhood, whose husband covers the Bruins for scout.com and the gentleman is plugged in with many of the wealthy boosters at UCLA, including several with Bay Area / 49ers ties.

It's happening and he is quite sure of it.

So, this text does nothing to mention Harbaugh.  Might want to change the thread title.  We can all infer, but your title leads on that there's more in the text than there actually is.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Harbaugh pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.
