Use the printer version of Freep articles in links, that way there are no ads. I'm not a fan of boycotting the entire paper, I like to check out Detroit news and it's generally the best source in the area for things other than sports, but doing that will allow people to see the info in the article without feeling all dirty.

I wonder what if feels like to have a picture (mind you a small picture) on the cover of SI after playing in just TWO (Count them 2) College football games. Has anyone ever done it faster?

not. But I do recall the last time we had a small, corner picture like that on SI was after the ND game in 2003 (pic of Chris Perry) and obviously we went on to lose to Oregon the next game. And then after Oregon beat us they were the featured picture on the cover the next week and went on to lose their next game. Crazy stuff.

We're talking about the Michigan-Notre Dame game! Both teams went into the game undefeated. It should have been a full cover photo! SI is dissing both schools people. The FREEP should now have company on the "do not click/buy" list!
