Football Ticket Update
just spent $600+ for 2 tickets for UM vs ND on stubhub
we better win this game
Got mine for the Minnesota game. Sec 11 row 68. Go blue
so you are telling me i could sell my 2 ND tickets for the same price i paid for the 4 game pack and see the rest of the games for free?
tempting very tempting.
Good God man I feel like my accidental stumble upon visit to MGoblue.com and noticing that waitlist members were able to purchase tickets the Thursday before GenPub went on sale was a total blessing.
I wont lie the thought has crossed my mine if someone walks up to me and says "Here is a $1000 for your two seats" what I would do.....
For the ND game.. if you can buy a ticket in say, for example, section 99 row 143.. and you can find another one in same section and same row... is that a good idea.. you can never see the actual seats.. so it's a guessing game.. I've never tried going this route before... but prices will only get higher..
I hate to the be guy that tries to do that.. and then try and still sit with his buddy... it's a dick move.
I would stay away from buying tickets at section 99 row 143
lolIf those existed where would they be? Top of the scoreboard? That would be sweet actually
Nothing to see here. These aren't the droids you're looking for. Move along.
I believe "Section 99" is a nickname for Bolivia.
getting tickets for nd at face value for my grandpas reunion. very pleased with that.
Anyone know if the ticket office is open today? I've been trying to call all morning (explained below) and it's constantly busy. I mean I'm sure it's a busy day but the phone line has been busy since 8:30am...
My thought / hope was that some of the 700 ND single game tickets were still around and that they were not being offered online (as last week they were not available online but were said to still be available).
Thoughts?
i called last week and the man I spoke with assured me that no more tickets for the ND will be released and that they had absolutely none left
I'm looking to sell a single in section 13 if anybody is interested.
Interested. [email protected]

tried to get tickets at 8:30 this morning for OSU, sold out in minutes before the server let me in
why sell OSU and ND tickets for $85 when it's far below their fair market price? that money is going straight to scalpers' pockets instead of to the athletic department where it would support our 30-some varsity sports. I wish they'd raise prices for those games and significantly drop them for Body Bag games, which barely or don't sellout.
I am glad to see the tickets selling out already and hopefully EMU, WMU, and SD St. do too. I am actually surprised that WMU isn't sold out yet as this is Hoke's first game at Michigan and I for one am taking a week off from work to go to Michigan because I dont want to miss either of the first two games.
I have three Western tix I purchased through the Alumni Association. I can't use them and am looking for someone who needs them. 3 tickets together, $65 a piece.
Go Blue!

Was $85 for an endzone row 1 single ticket a bad buy? Meaning ... will individuals be cheaper on Stubhub in Nov.?
I doubt you will find a ticket on Stubhub for The Game for less than face value
Certainly not. I've never seen a ticket to The Game go for less than $150 on Stubhub.
Got the SD game row 7 in section 10. coming all the way from califonia. so stoked!!!!
Anybody know the best way to purchase tix for the Michigan away games? I'm looking to get tix to the Northwestern game in Evanston. N'Western's website isn't clear on when they release their single game tickets for sale. Can we buy them from the UM Box Office?
I have been to NW for a Michigan game and do not worry about trying to get them right away as it will not be a sell out. Its a good game to go to though because half of the fans are Michigan fans. Not sure how to get them through Michigans site.
Last year single game NW tix went on sale early August, so I would keep an eye on the nusports.com site get them then. NW games don't usually sell out but this is a night game that will be full of Chicago-area UM fans so it likely will have more demand.
What I've done in the past is to call NU's ticket office directly to find out when their individual game tix go on sale. Then I call that day. Just make sure that you ask for the visitor's side (made this mistake in the past). Never had a problem with the game selling out.
Thanks - I actually just called their ticket office and single game Big Ten Conf games go on sale 8/22.
last week. Single game tix go on sale Aug 22.
Hahaha, they open up at home September 10th and they don't start selling until 3 weeks before that game? That's seems anti productive. Maybe if they advertised better and sold their tickets for a longer period of time they might be able to able to get more asses in the seats.
There are billboards up all over Chicago highways proclaiming the wildcats as "Chicago's Big Ten Team" so they are advertising. One would think they would do better to hype single games or packages than season tix as this point though.
I could of bought 4 for nebraska today if i wanted to , i was trying for osu singles but i overslept !
i didn't want to be a dick and buy tickets to a game i didnt think i was gonna be able to go to.
i got 2 tickets to the minnesota game for sale ( from my 4 pack ) if anybodys looking
i accept paypal

I'm just working under the assumption that Ed Werder was sent to Hattisburg the second this article came out

When do general sale tix usually go out? I've never attended a game in my life, but I live in Texas and fully intend to go to Jerryworld with my wife and kids and witness us vs Alabama next year. When do neutral venue tix usually go out to the public? I always wanted my first game ever to be at the Big House, but I just can't pass up the chance to drive a few hours and see the our boys kick some Tide tail.
I'm looking to sell a single for Notre Dame, in section 13. If anybody is interested.
Yah, we saw it the first time chief. Put it on the spreadsheet like the rest of us.
just a curious question. i have never been to an osu/michigan football at Michigan. I am a huge Michigan fan and have been to an osu/mich game in Columbus. Why does it seem that in Columbus the stadium is full of osu fans and not too many michigan fans. and the michigan fans that are there, you cannot hear them in the stands. but i have noticed just from tv, it seems like ohio state fans invade michigan stadium. you can even hear them chanting ohio!!! How does this happen? Does all of the Michigan fans sell their tickets to osu fans or what??? I hate seeing the Big House full of red!!!!!!!!!!
sick to my stomach to hear the O H I O chant going around our stadium.
edit: I haven't put them up on the spreadsheet yet but I have a pair to ND I need to sell. SEC 9 row 23.
I'll pay more than that guy but less than stubhub :) hahaha [email protected]
Well, I have a few theories. I feel like OSU fans can be heard at The Big House because over the last few years A.) We've had nothing to really cheer about and B.) Our fans, quite frankly, haven't been as loud in recent years.
As for why you never see/hear UM fans at Ohio Stadium....well, UM fans don't really want to go to Ohio Stadium for fear of putting their life in the hands of rabid and ignorant OSU fans who have a tendancy to get violent when they see someone not wearing scarlet and grey in their stadium....that goes for the Navy fan I saw get his ass beat 2 years ago outside of Thirsty Scholar.
i just wish they wouldnt get ahold of the tickets in the first place. i wish michigan fans would hold onto their tickets for that game instead of selling them, which i assume is one of the things happening
and i know what you mean about not wanting to go into ohio stadium as a michigan fan. i did that when i was 13 and needless to say, my mother had to get me out of there at halftime lol
I was in there in 2008 and 2009 for all the home games. Fun, fun...[involuntary facial twitch]...times. 2010 was just BGSU in person, but I watched a bunch of games streaming on my computer for the first time.
Anyways, I got my tickets for 2011: Purdue, row 31 on the visitor's side, and Nebraska, row 11 on the home side. I'm really excited--I got to row 13 in the student section senior year. I didn't get access to the server until 8:39, and even then I had to keep entering the promotional code to get access to the single game sales. I checked Ohio State in maybe a dozen different sections, but it always said that it was unable to reserve a ticket for me. Oh well. I could even make it a day trip if I wanted with a 5 AM wakeup call or something.
I got tickets for the ND and Minnesota game..hoping to go to the SDSU or Eastern game also...Frat's anyone?haha
I got some eastern tickets I need to unload @ face value.
I have SDSU and EMU tickets I'm looking to sell. See the spreadhseet and let me know if you are interested in the seats. My info can be found there along with others looking to sell.
Is still available : http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/buying-selling-um-tickets-thread-spreadsheet
If you need, or are looking for tickets add to the spreadsheet.
I will keep hoping I can find 2 ND or OSU tickets to the game this year.
im mad at myself for not waking up for this... i had every intention of doing so. but forgot to set the alarm... :(
for those who did buy tickets to osu this morning, how good were they?
