Football Season Ticket Upgrade Seating Released
For those of you who have requested football season ticket seating upgrades, they have been released online on the mgoblue.com site. When you go to the main page, click on "Tickets", then "My Account", then log in with your user name and password. Then click again on "My Account", and then click on "View my Order History". Your 2015 season ticket locations should appear on the order history page when you click on the hyperlink "Football Season" and then on "view seats".
It's a bit of a maze, but hopefully, you'll find some good news.
As for me, I upgraded 4 of my seats to lower rows within my section and got Row B. I can smell the astro turf!!

I did not get the section I wanted, but the row request and what looks to be aisle seats, were granted. I'm happy.
Why do think they are aisle seats?
Thanks for the heads up! I've been upgraded to 3 seats so now I can take my Dad and my Son! Section 18 row 3.
Ooops double.
First year season ticket holder, ended up with four aisle seats in Section 5 after requesting an upgrade. Can't complain about that.
I sat for almost 25 years in Section 5 before moving in 2009. Two in row 63 & four in row 36. Not a bad view (once you get used to looking at everything on an angle) but you sit kity-corner from the students so you'll need to really bring it during the GO - - - BLUE chants to keep up with them.
One oddity - lines would always be long at Section's 4, 3 & 2 before the game but we in Section 5 always sailed right in. I know we had GREAT ushers so maybe that's why cause I dont think there was any differece in the number of people trying to get in.
The reason you get in so quickly is that Section 5 is a short section. It only goes down to roughly row 30. While it has the same width isle, it has roughly 25% of the seats as full sections.
Thanks for the info! I sat in Section 19 for UTL I, which is basically the west version of Section 5, and I thought it was a solid location. Can't wait to meet the new football season family!
Where does it tell you that you have aisle seats? I can't find any maps with seat numbers. Anybody got one?
Actually, I might be mistaken about the aisle seats thing. I've never paid all that much attention to seat numbers in the stadium, but I believe aisle seat numbers vary by section, so seat 1 in a certain row might not be an aisle seat, etc.

There's a section in the renewal form. You can add upgrade requests there.
When you renew your season tickets, there is a text box that asks you for any special requests. This is where you put in your upgrade request.
I missed the request part of the application, so I just emailed the ticket office directly and asked for one. Throughout the whole process I basically just bugged the hell out of the ticket office, hoping I could work my way out of the end zone despite it being my first year, and it looks like I pulled it off.
I donated some money this year, and my seats didn't move at all. Disappointed.
Did you request the upgrade in the form?
Also, you should make your request broad in order for the probability to get it higher.
I.e., a good request would be - "please upgrade me to the "Maize" or "Blue" tier and any row lower than "Row 60".
A bad request would be (1) - "please upgrade me to better seats" (too generic, they will have no idea what you want) or (2) "please upgrade me to row A or B in Section 1." (way too specific and competitive to get)
I asked them about it and they mentioned to be more specific about not being "too high". Still I was disappointed after extending out with my donation.
this year, and ended up in Section 35 (I requested the north end-zone Secion 36) in Row 46 on the aisle. So cant complain. Considering I live in Texas and only make it home for 3-4 games a season, wanted to keep my PSD down by staying in the end zone. Already have my flights and hotel arranged for Oregon State, Northwestern, Michigan State and Ohio State! 97 Days and counting til the season begins!!!!!
got my seat assignments. section 5 nosebleeds, but in the stadium!
of everyone in this thread. If I'm lucky I can make the time to see two games in person each year, but most often it's only one.
I need to get a lawn service, or a housekeeper, a new job, a different wife, or anything that will help me get my weekends back!
Does anyone have a link to a good seating chart with seat numbers. I can find ones that give row numbers but I am curious if my new seats are close to an asile.
Was granted my upgrade, with isle seats and this is my first year. I cant complain.
Can we get some kind of loyalty program that reduces ticket prices every year you renew to get rid of all the fairweathers in our stadium so we never have to deal with 40,000 people not showing up like last year?
IMHO, I am not sure a discount program would help - ask DB how the Coke and Groupon promotions worked. It was the bad product/schedule on the field that made people not come, and especially when you have players like Devin F. with his "just statistics" comment, you could tell that the team had lost a lot of their spirit and drive.
Now the JH is here, I highly doubt you will see 40k no-shows as you will see a much better product on the field.
2nd year holder here and didnt get my request. I asked for it in the comments section when I paid for the tickets. ???

I got two additional seats in section 24, five rows behind my existing seats. I am jacked up about this. Very excited. Now I can take my family and my parents (dad graduated a year or two before Schembechler was hired -- talks about all of the coolers in the student section).
I'm curious to get an official report on the season ticket waitlist. As a proxy for fan goodwill, it has probably done a huge 180 since 12/30/14.
HARBAUGH!!
And got secton 41 row 84....ouch!
Football
This is my first time as Season Ticket Holder too. I got Section 36 Row 53 in Endzone in Corner where Desmond Howard made his 4th and 1 catch vs Notre Dame. I am pretty happy with that location considering its my first year. I requested that I would prefer between the 30 yard lines, but of more importance is being on a row level that was not too close to the field and not too high. Row 53 is good (since there are 96 rows) for me to get a decent view of how the plays are developing. I am just wondering how I can see where exactly my seats are in the row. Is there a link or seating map with seat numbers?
I spent an hour hour yesterday trying to find a seating map with seat numbers. I'm now in Section 35 Row 53 Seats 1&2, which I think butts up to Section 36. Who knows? We might be neighbors.
But a first time to have the tickets in my name. Moved over one section (from 14 to 13) and down 25 rows (from 50 to 25). Can't complain at all.
Excited to be a first time season ticket holder. We got section 42 row 27 seats 17 and 18. I have spent the over 2 hours trying to get an idea where the seat numbers fall in the row. I cannot find a map with seat numbers. I see a number of others have asked for the same with no reply. Looks like since it is the blue part of section 42 that it going to be between the 5 and the end of the endzone. But I would really like to know there it is and how close to the aisle (left or right of the aisle especially, I am hoping left of the aisle). No matter where the seats fall in the section I am still excited.
As a first time poster did I post the above in the wrong section or is eveyone just enjoying the summer?
