Football Bust Highlights
Didn't see this posted, but it is interesting ...
Rivals (not $$)
Senior defensive end Brandon Graham, on receiving his ‘M’ ring: “I know I told my mom the first ring I got I was going to give it to her, but I think we might have to share this one. I will always wear it and represent Michigan right in the future.”
I got choked up reading that; BG, we are going to miss you soooooo much.

Yep BG truly personifies "The leaders and the best." I am going to miss you Brandon and I look forward to watching you terrorize quarterbacks in the NFL.

BG always seems to say the right things. He's a class act and a fierce competitor. He and Charles Woodson are now tied for my favorite Michigan player of all time. I'm really going to miss watching him in the winged helmet on Saturdays.

What a shame that he had to play for such crappy teams.

how about some nfl projections...
3-4 olb? like woodley? does he have the speed? coverage abilities? his performance in those kinds of drills at the combine will have a big impact on his draft status.
4-3 de? most guys that are being considered as OLB/DE tweeners...if they end up on the dline...its as speed rushers. but not bg. he lacks elite speed even for a de. but he plays better against the run than most dt's.
3-4 de? honestly...maybe.
personally...i think he'd be best as a 4-3 strong-side end, but I guess we'll see won't we.

I came close to shedding a few tears when BG got up there. There were several great moments, but another one that choked everyone up was Zoltan. When he started to talk about his parents and everything they sacrificed to come to the States, everybody was fighting back the tears.
There was also a senior walkon I had never heard of, Nick something (long last name). But his speech about getting a chance to play was terrific.
At last years Bust it was hard to tell how much the players cared about RR, but this year, you could really tell that he touched all these players. It was truly great to see.
All the seniors did a great job and they will be missed.

Thanks for adding your personal observations for those of us far away and unable to attend.
