Follow-Up: Shaquelle Evans Transferring to UCLA
I help out hope for a little that Michigan might be able to swing him in.. oh well. He's now on a west coast team that Michigan won't have to play any time soon (insinuating their coming lack of Rose Bowl success, not ours), so live and let live I suppose.

A bit surprised. Chatter was indicating that he'd be heading to Oregon. I dunno why he'd go to UCLA since they've switched to the pistol offense and QB play at UCLA has been beyond horrible the last several years. Oregon's spread and shred offense would've been a better fit, but oh well, hope it works out for the kid.

Even though it would have been nice to have a kid like Shaquelle Evans on Michigan's campus, we are pretty much loaded at WR so that's no big deal. At least he didn't transfer to Ohio State or something.

he was at the very least 7th on the ND depth chart, possibly 8th...i dont see why anyone would want someones 3rd string WR..

Notre Dame is pretty darned deep at WR too. Maybe he hasn't launched up the depth chart like people thought he would with all his high school accolades, but his long term potential is still there.

Shaq Evans left ND because he couldn't crack the two-deep AND he was far from home/homesick. UCLA makes a lot more sense than Oregon, which was 750 miles from home.
I don't think Michigan would have been a consideration at all.
