"The face of the operation is Briatore (referred to exclusively in the film by his colleagues and angry, chanting detractors as "Flavio"), an anthropomorphic radish who spends most of his time at QPR plotting to fire all of the managers."
Fluff about Jordan Diamond, Brady Hoke, and Thomas Rawls
Not exactly on point but Rivals' front page says Jalen is planning a UM visit. No video available but he is a 4* on Scout and high 3* elswhere. QB in high school he projects as an athlete (6'2" 205) who could give us some depth at QB and then move to WR or S as needed.
wonder who he is named for?
Flamebait^...cant moderate comments from my droid.
I think what you meant to say is: a man who made a mistake, owned up to it, served his time and made NO excuses. He's also the same man who has donated hundreds of thousands dollars of his own money plus countless hours of his time raising money for inner city youth and education.
To borrow a sentiment from Lloyd Carr: when you become the paradigm of character and flawless moral standing, feel free to judge those of us who fall short from time to time. Until then, feel free to piss off (Lloyd didn't say that last part but I thought it fit in nicely).
Its OK to defend Jalen, but he didn't exactly "own up" to his mistake when he made it. He threw out some BS to the media pretending he was innocent and it was a misunderstanding. Just calling it like I see it.
c'mon this guy is a huge troll and either a sparty or buckeye. you guys arguing is validates his presence here.
C'mon Brian, just cave this troll's comments already.
FWIW, he was offered as a WR.
Some more information not worthy of its own thread, in my opinion...going to piggyback this thread.
Brandon Minor 6 carries 24 yards for the Broncos last night. 2nd leading rusher, 2nd in carries.
So happy we have a Wolverine playing on the Broncos again. I'll call it now that Minor has a better season that Knowshan Moreno. Ok maybe not but hopefully he makes the cut!
"The main thing is holding out and seeing where the real coaches are. The real coaches who stick there with you. That’s what I’m looking for.” " sis
Hmmmm, so it is a good thing 25 schools waiting for his commitment.
I have no problem with a kid waiting to make sure he is making the choice he wants. On the the hand, comments like this annoy me b/c its less about which school he fits better at and more like which school he feels wants him the most. Comes across a little as an irrational attention whore.
Agree. It really shouldn't be about which coaches give you the most love. Now, I'm not nieve and I realize that giving a kid attention plays a big part in recruiting, but from a recruit's stand-point this really shouldn't be the sole reason you choose a school. It also can backfire if a team then says "well, you really don't want to come here that bad", and move on to the next recruit.
I've had a growing feeling for awhile now that Diamond wouldn't be a part of this class. Hearing him say he's going to wait until at least November, now I'm sure of it. With only 1 OL spot left, Banner and Garnett visiting for ND, if's very likely one of them commits before Nov., if not one of them, someone else will pull the trigger, during an official visit, before Nov.
Diamond knows what the recruiting situation is with the OL. The fact that he's not a bit more eager to pull the trigger (or at least move up his timeline for deciding so his choices aren't narrowed for him) indicates he's not as high on M as most think, and definitely not the lock that most were thinking he was, once upon a time.
