Urban will be observing practices, but he is concentrating on recruiting and will have no input into the game plan or playcalling. Sadly.

i think to say he will have 'no input into the game plan' is probably wrong. dude is a control freak, i'm sure he'll be involved in game planning. though it's true, he did say he would not be doing any playcalling/coaching during the game.

I'm disappointed. I really wanted them matched up with Ohio in Detroit. Like Brian said in the MGoPodcast, people would tune in just for the mascot factor.

The guys Meyer recruited against the guys he's going to coach next year. I like OSU to win this game, their defense should shut down Florida's wet noodle attack and Miller should really benefit from the extra practice.

Not only does Florida need to beat Ohio, they need to beat them 41-14.
What I'm wondering is: does this basically confirm that OSU is not getting any bowl ban whatsoever? The NCAA can't come out now and announce that OSU is getting its well-deserved bowl ban *now*, after pairings have been announced, can they?

trying to think of a tag line to replace 'higher standards, lower prices'.. perhaps 'higher arrest rate, lower academic standards'. Any other suggestions??
