FL RB JoJo Kemp Offered?
Michigan reportedly offered FL APB JoJo Kemp (I'd take him on his name alone!) in the past week. Kemp also plays OLB and looks disruptive in that position.
Size:
Kemp is 5'11", 190
Ratings:
3 stars by Rivals and 247Sports (not ranked still on Scout)
Offers:
Notable offers include USF, West Virginia, Miss State, Purdue and Minny.

Looks like the coaches are looking for at least one more RB (which makes me think Shallman might eventually move to another position)
EDIT: Mods can you confirm and delete if false. Thanks.
[ED:BISB - No. I don't have time to call JoJo today. I will, however, add a question mark to your title. If you are able to confirm, then I'll delete.]
They either don't feel too good about Isaac or Green or they think this guy is better than both. Not feeling good about Isaac and Green would be contrary to everything we've been hearing and seeeing.
Oh well, I suppose the coaches might know a little bit more than me about the team...
Green is not coming.. He has stated in the last week that Ohio still leads and its a pretty big gap.
until he committed to Purdue. Then boom! Snake oiled!
Fear the stache
with the Shallman guessing. We get it, he has an abnormally large body for a RB. We all know the story, but yet the coaches insist he's there as a RB. Why speculate moreso. Leave the kid be.
its in our blood to speculate. And it is nothing beyond speculation.
Nothing to do with Shallman himself - the kid's in a great place either ways.
Jr highligths, looks pretty smooth to me
He totally mauls a cheerleader on the sideline.
Wow, what's this rated?
So I scan to 5:00 to check out the scene with my wife sitting next to me. Cheerleader gets mauled and my wife responds "Shoulda moved." Not only got knocked down but rolled with pom poms ablazing.

Cool wife! Love her attitude!
STRENGTHS:This kid's balance is top notch. He can be nudged and it doesn't affect him in the least bit. He can make decent, but not fantastic cuts. He's not going to be breaking anyone's ankles with what I've seen so far. His speed is above average. I did a quick google on what his track times are, and 2 years ago (his freshman year) he ran a 12 second 100m. To give a comparrison, Denard hit 10.28. Again, that was only his freshman year, he definitely could've grown since then, but I see a lot of DB's keeping up with him in his junior year highlights as well. Vision looks ok. Makes a lot of smart moves following blockers.
WEAKNESSES: His tackle breaking ability is not great. I have yet to see him churn through a weaker tackle. If he's wrapped up he's probably going down. He's not the biggest nor fastest running back.
OVERALL: With his skill set, my TTB ranking would be ~63. When he gets to whatever school he goes to, he'll work on his strength, and tackle breaking abilities with a college strength coach. I think he could be a pleasant surprise. I've seen a lot of tape of people ranked higher than him, and they don't look like they have as much upside.
With our offensive line recruits though, if that is taken into account, I give JoJo an 83. The holes our OL is going to be opening up will make any running back look like a superstar.
Agree with JohnCorbin except I do see a lot of busted tackles in there. As for the defensive speculation below, RUFKM? This guy is a stud RB in my opinion. I like his film a tad better than Smith's. Great speed for his size, and excellent vision.
Just my .02, but I like his film a LOT. Don't know much about the competition in his league though.
he looks pretty good on defense. I wonder if we are thinking of him for the defensive side of the ball.
his speed and disruption as a OLB is amazing. Kid wants to hurt people (he's flying around with tackles) but given our LB situation (after we turned down DoD) I'd say he's been looked at as a back.
Strong Safety - size, speed, attitude.
There are probably other reasons for offering this kid aside from just Isaac and Green's interests. His film suggests that he is insanely fast. And he is from Florida so maybe Hoke and staff want to make some connections with his high school and that area.
OMG why are we not offering 5 stars...PANIC!!!!
yeah todd shot it down yesterday, talked to the kid direct.
For whatever it may be worth, neither Scout nor Rivals have him listed as having an offer from Michigan (or even interest from them for that matter). Sometimes news spreads slowly, but it does make 24/7 seem a little dubious.
Magnus does a good job of keeping track of who has been offered: http://touchthebanner.blogspot.com/p/2013-offer-board.html
JoJo has not.
now he is.
Yeah...I hate to say it, but I list any kid as "offered" who is listed on one of the major sites. If 247 Sports removes the check mark next to Michigan, then I'll remove him from my list.

I stand corrected by the man himself. Sorry, I thought you had some way of verifying which kids have offers and which ones didn't.
I try to stay away from contacting recruits directly. I think that sets up a conflict of interest.

I see no offer listed. Maybe it was false info?
tape looks good... nice burst.
JOJO is that you with your BFF KC?
If he's playing against decent competition there - and it appears that he is - that kid's pretty damn impressive. Great change of direction, breaks tackles, breakaway speed.
Really don't know why he'd only have three stars, to be honest.
Based solely on his name, he'll end up at FSU or Clemson.
Great looking runner.
Call me a skeptic but he ain't 5'11''
