Florida is #1. Wisconsin and Arizona get huge bumps from the computers to make it at 21 and 22.

In the event the Bama/Fla vs Texas matchups gets derailed, one thing is clear: The Pac 10 season is going to have a huge say in the pecking order to fill that void.
Boise (Oregon)
Cincy (Oregon State)
Iowa (Arizona)
All of them have as their impressive OOC win those Pac 10 clubs and their fates will help sway computer points. Right behind them is USC. So, if they top-3 gets picked off, the Pac 10 becomes the most watched and number crunched league.

#21 Wisconsin! With that non-conference schedule. Two "good" losses and 5 who-cares victories.. So, why not UM at #21? At least we beat the No. 26 Irish

Why Wisconsin and not UM?
I will take a stab at it but it is mostly an educated guess. Really it looks like strength of schedule. Only the computer rankings take this into serious account (even though they don't all calculate a definitive ranking per team), pollsters don't do the same type of analysis the computer rankings do (for good or bad that is how it is) which isn't ground breaking news.
The easiest example to show that is the Sagarin Rankings which do explicitly calculate each team's strength of schedule. http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/fbt09.htm
That ranking changes every week with the team rankings and is a measure of the opponents played to date. Last week UM SOS was around 36, I don't remember specifically, and this week has dropped to 90th, while Wisconsin obviously increased their SOS to 29th when they played Iowa this week. I do not know how any of the equations that the various computer systems use to do their rankings but that difference in SOS can be used as a measure in "quality of wins" when the numbers are the only thing taken into account

Computers like them a lot, on the opposite side of that is USC who the computers aren't really too fond of

It will all work its self out, BCS rankings don't mean anything for 7-8 more weeks

The computers love Iowa, having them ranked 3rd above Texas and others. They keep winning, they have an outside shot. I think the computers are the only sane body when it comes to ranking tUOS, giving them a nice golden shower, leaving them mostly unranked, which IMO is where they belong at this juncture with several uninspiring performances coupled with two losses.

hasn't looked all that impressive lately. Both Florida and Alabama have remaining schedules that should keep them undefeated (on paper), which would set up the SEC Championship game between the two.
Alabama has looked like the superior team by far.
