Fire Hoke
It's time. There is more than enough evidence. Can anyone give one good reason why this guy should remain head coach at Michigan? He was a mediocre MAC coach and has shown nothing to suggest that he's capable of leading us to success. Fire him now, and take Brandon with him. I'm really not being emotional here, it's just objectively obvious. The guy is a bad coach.

A Michigan Man is someone who loves the University, will do all in his power to support and properly represent the University. He has to be an honorable, loyal, and just person.
He doesn't have to be from any place in particular. He doesn't have to have any prior affiliation with the school.

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Hoke is on that level, but time will tell. Bo bounced back from the '84 season (in which U-M suffered its last shutout before this one, a 26-0 loss to Iowa) with arguably his best season ever in '85. Hoke may not have an entire year to work with though. If he loses to MSU, PSU, and OSU I think it's very unlikely he will survive the season, but it's still just a guessing game and there's really no telling what Brandon is thinking right now.

are you kidding? Bo was a great football coach. His teams may have lost, but they never once lost like that. Even comparing Hoke to Bo is a joke.

Agreed. Mattison has certainly established and proven that he's capable of getting worked by any offense that runs the spread or plays with any sort of tempo.

What have our coordinators really done! Mattison's defense has consistently given up tons of points in the big games the last several years. His best defense at Michigan was the one he didn't coach back in the '97 Nat'l Championship Season!
And our offensive coordinator just got shut out for the first time since '84?

the MAC assistant coaches need to GTFO. Never understood this as they are all in over their heads. Hoke, still like him if h';s a delaegator and besides the bad offensive game plan I like Nuss. Mattison may be too old for this now. I like him but younger innovative talent is needed at all the other assistant positions, it ain't 1997 any more. i am asking WTF about the defense all night. Can't pressure, can't cover, can't tackle. This is bull shizzle homey!
On offense too many short passes even when ND is not blitzing and Green needs to be replaced by Smith why is Green still missing holes and running the wrong way while Smith got hot and was pulled out ealry? Not happy with many decisions and what is this missing FGs crap on top of all the other shizzle? Like Borges, I want 5 wide now.

However, this is his 4th year and we are not even competing in this game. ND has starters out on both sides of the ball and we can not even make it a close game. I'm really starting to believe in the "Hoke can't win on the road" argument. We played like crap against a VT team that many thought should not have been in the Sugar Bowl at all. That's the only big road win really.
