Fire Brandon Kickstarter

Submitted by A2MIKE on

I don't think t-shirts is a great idea, because it's not practical based on the weather this weekend, but I do think towels is a great idea.  So I am putting this out there to all of mgoblog, find us a deal on towels and everyone can donate as much money as they like.  Personally, I will donate $200 and I will stand outside Michigan Stadium and give them away (don't think selling is the best idea) to anyone that wants one as they walk in the stadium this Saturday.  They need to be bright so that they stand out and simply say, "Fire Brandon".  Am I crazy?

Edit:  Ok, everyone has spoken, must be my inner zeitgeist to see Dave removed at any and all costs.  I rescind the request, does seem a little petty. But, I hope you are all right and that he is removed in enough time to warrant the coaching change that needs to take place.  I just worry that we are going to bungle this search in a similar fashion to the last two.  Where is Bill Martin?

Mods feel free to delete.

If it's too cold to wear a t-shirt, couldn't people just hold up the t-shirt, just like they would a towel? Problem solved. No need for a kickstarter to take people's money for getting a bunch of towels made and distributed at some later unknown date.

All you need to do is get an old t shirt and turn it inside out and write "i support the team fire brandon and hoke" in sharpie. We don't need to waste money on this. Especially after what just came out.

Once Ross gave his blessing yesterday to fire DB, the crows started circling over DB's house.  I think it's safe to put the pitchforks back in the shed for now.

It's obvious to me now that David Brandon must be fired. But not for the reasons others might think. Our fan base is so toxic that certain elements out there will do anything and everything to undermine the current program and the AD. In this case Hoke and Brandon are on the chopping block and our house divided will not stop until Brandon and all those associated with him are no longer a part of Michigan football. The same thing happened with Rich Rod. Rather than support a coach, our coach, a significant number of people decided he did not fit neatly into the "Michigan Man" equation. And so he had to endure all sorts of cirticism (allot of wich was grossly unfair). Rather than fight the tide like Rich Rod did for 3 years only to be unfairly terminated at the end of a 3 or 4 year cycle, we may as well wipe the slate clean and do away with anybody who is a part of the current football program (Freddy J included). That means Brandon has to go. It's the only way to ensure that the next coach will have a fighting chance at Michigan...

P.S. In terms of an offensive system, Michigan had everything it every wanted in coach Rodiguez. And we mucked it up!

If only they made some sort of warm undergarment or base layer that you wear under a t-shirt.   Oh garment business, how you fail me!!!!

You are fighting the Michigan sports equivalent of the Battle of New Orleans.  Brandon is on his way out already.  Ross was a strong ally of his; he would not have made those statements yesterday if U-M were on the fence about keeping him.

David Brandon was supposedly using the Michigan job as a stepping stone for state politics.  If so, he is a casualty of his own bungling.  Sparty fans hate him because he was at Michigan.  Michigan fans hate him becuase of his arrogance and utter incompetence.

I am guessing it is going to be a long time before David Brandon can even win an election to supervise waste management.

I don't support Brandon at all but let's be real, Michigan isn't defined about Football! It's a BIG part about UofM but we have Basketball, Hockey, Band, Art, Lacrosse, Baseball, and more. This is what Michigan is made of- many diverse students, and that is what Michigan is, a diverse university with more then 1 sport! We need to look at the big picture. I don't like not support him in any way, just making a statement! Football is by far the most important sport at Michigan! Go Blue !
