don't forget FUNK.

Fire them both.  This is embarrassing.  This is almost as bad as a Rich Rod defense.

QB coaching - terrible.

OL coaching - terrible.

Game planning and playcalling - terrible.

Recruits will be the next loss.  Why would you come to Michigan after watching that?

Nebraska was constantly blitzing and an OC with almost 30 years coaching can't adjust to that.  WTF!!!  Is the blitz some new concept just introduced this year?

After the muffed punt/gift from the HORRIBLE Nebraska team, we ran twice in a row.  WE HAVEN'T RUN SUCCESSFULLY ALL FUCKING YEAR.  We waved the white flag right then and there.

For the briefest of moments in Q3, we had nut hair and threw quick short passes.  The result?  TOUCHDOWN.  It worked so well, we immediately stopped doing it.

Yes our OLIne is terrible, but you have to acknowledge what works and what doesn't.  Only a FOOL keeps running plays that have had zero success.

After the second straight run after the pint fumble, even the announcers said "that was the same play, just to the other side, how is that supposed to work?". Absolutely embarrassing when announcers know you are making shitty calls

Chris "Fucking' Spielman, understands when somebody blitzes the shit out of you, you go to the hot route.  Even Jeremy Grey understands that concept......

Chunkums I want to change my vote.  I wanted Borges and Funk fired at the end of the season.  I say F'it, and let's get it over with now.

Did anyone notice Nebraska's oline? Playing backups yet still managing to, you know....block people and get their rb to 100 yards. This should show people that just because you play guys with little experience it doesn't mean they have to be absolutely inept.

Honestly, I'm trying to remain level headed and not jump off the cliff, but this has gone on long enough. My wife is in education and at least in this part of the world, teachers are evaluated on yearly basis. When teachers have one guy who fails it is easily explained as being the students fault, a lack of execution if you will. But when you have an enitre class fail, you can't blame that on the students anymore, that's the teachers fault. This entire offense is failing and still some people want to blame the students, and let's face it, that's what hese guys are right now, students that need to be taught.

This staff is failing them miserably and I have to think it is going to have some form of impact on the recruiting going forward. I mean. if you don't have faith that your coaches can develop you are you really going to go to that school?

I also saw some people say they felt AB desreved a pass until the end of the year, at which point he could be let go, but why? He has nothing at all to do with recruiting so letting him go won't impact on that front. Continuity? Why would we want continuity of what has been going on this season? Let him go now and give the next guy a head start and try to hang onto the recruits we have.

Some might also suggest that a ew coordinator at this point can't make a difference this season. I would point them to Texas. Diaz was fired mid season and look what happened there, they have made marked improvement since he left. Lane Kiffen and USC is also an example of what can happen when you let someone go mid-season. There is really no good reason to keep him one minute longer in my opinion.

Now I'm not one to take sports too personally so I won't throw out any personal attacks toward AB, plus, he seems like a pretty good guy, but he needs to go asap.

Anew O-line coach, a new OC and an actual QB coach are needed, without a doubt in my mind. The offense has trasnitioned into shit and the players, the fans, and UM in general deserve better.

Funk as an OL coach < Tony Gibson as an DB coach

Borges < GERG running the 3-3-5

Got that, Dave Brandon?

I am done with the guy.  I've given him everything I have -- and I still do feel like there are legitimate issues that aren't his fault.  But, you get a fumbled punt, the game is tied, you're deep in the opponents zone, time for the fucking dagger.  Nope, you call not one, but TWO of the very plays that have got you FUCKING NOTHING ALL FUCKING YEAR!  WTF are you thinking.  Nobody would have faulted him for throwing three passes to the EZ.  I realize that it's hard to scheme around a horrible blocking OL.  But, why run the one FUCKING PLAY YOU'VE NOT BEEN ABLE TO RUN ALL FUCKING YEAR in THAT situtation?  WHY AL?  WHY?!?

about a 100 times on this blog, including some "cerebral" comments that are borderline racist.

You think a true freshman should be playing (because they handle pressure so well).
Well guess what, if Morris is better than Gardner, why aren't Michigan's world-class coaches playing him then?

Gardner makes a fair amount of mistakes, but how much of that is what he's being coached to do, no trust in his line, no running game, bad plays, etc.  The QB experts of the NFL have liked what they've seen.

Unless you've got some inside practice info you'd like to share you should probably shut up before you get yourself banned for saying such disrespectful shit about players.

The overall trend has been there. I didn't expect anything but what was delivered from this game. His past has kind of indicated so. You can criticize Denard's passing abilities the past 2 years, but Denard also pulled Borges' fat out of the fire as well. It might have been a wash, but I really don't think so. The previous 2 seasons (and particularly the first season), Denard did more for the offense than ever Borges did. But Borges got credit in some circles. So, Michigan has 2 away games and a game that is, in essence for them, against the 1970's Pittsburgh Steelers. While that is a sure loss, what about the 2 away games? At best, this team is looking at 1-2, with 0-3 a real possibility. Again, the trend of the team. A worse record, a worse offense, and a worse performance the further away from Rodriguez. To quote a deceased friend of mine, "everything keeps getting worser." I've always liked that. And this really what this whole dispute, with all of the postings and all of the animus, all about. It really will end up being Rodriguez versus Hoke. The further along the team transitioned from Carr to Rodriguez, the more it was in Rodriquez' image, and the better it got. Yeah, 7-6 wasn't too good in his last year, but the following year was all due who? If the Sugar Bowl season was due to the brilliance Brady Hoke, than the following years' problems were back due to RR? You have got to be fucking kidding. I think that Brady Hoke and Al Borges are decent men, but their careers do have never given the indication that they are the kind of elite that so many hope, regardless how many times either one says "This is Michigan fergodsakes!"

wow---nebraska blitzed on nearly every play, and we either ran right into it, or called a pass play that required so much time to develop, that gardner got sacked. ridiculous!

Enough of this hack OC who is still caught in the 1990's that every delusional M fan is defending due to youth.  He can't coach RB blocks, QBs to throw the ball away, OL, and he gets out RPS'd every 2 plays.  Enough of Borges.  He is and must be gone come year end.  He is the worst coordinator Michigan has ever had, as I have been saying for a month now.

Turn the page.  The issue is not FIRE AL BORGES because that is an absolute must, and will have to happen at the end of this year.  The issue is, who out there is a good replacement for him and Funk?  Brandon can pay top dollar, so he needs to be aggressive and get us an absolute monster Offensive Coordinator come January.  Stanford's OC?  Wisconsin's?  I figure we can't go full spread again or that's just starting from scratch again.  We need the best manball OC money can buy.

I know people hate Dave Brandon, but if there's on thing he understands, its business- what's good for it, and what's bad for it. I am already considering dropping my season tickets if Borges is still around, I am sure I am not alone. Brandon will force a change if that's the case.

This is what made me want to throw something at my TV.

On the drive where Michigan kicked the FG to go up 13-10:

1st & 10: Derrick Green rush, negative yards

2nd & 12ish: Derrick Green RUSH, nothing

3rd & 12ish: Devin Gardner 6yd scramble

4th: Field Goal

Get the fuck out of Ann Arbor, Borges. You are absolute garbage.

3 drives starting at the opponent's 40 yard line or better . . . 3 points to show for it (from a long field goal that had a fortuitous bounce off the upright).

You can make up all the excuses you want, but this offense still has Gallon, Funchess, Gardner, Lewan, and Schofield and yet it seems completely incompetent.  That incompetence is one thing against the #1 defense in the country, but against this Nebraska squad at home - there can be no excuses.

one of those senior leaders needs to man up for the good of the team and go to Hoke and call out Borges.  If Hoke can't hear it from the critics and the fans in the stands, maybe he will finally get it, when one of the kids he cares so deeply about, tells him what is really going on.  Borges is funking killing us coach....

Prior to this game, I was in the "give Borges more time" camp, but now, F that!  Fire Borges! There were so many predictable and pathetic play calls.  He sucks.  He doesn't adjust.

Guess what Borges, if the young players aren't executing/capable of executing the plays you WANT to call, then figure out what plays they ARE good at running.  Call plays to their strengths, not just the standard package plays that you THINK they should be able to run.  Our O's production is a joke.
