Finding an article...

Submitted by Gordon on

Around last season, a newspaper had a 7-8 part series that went in-depth on the whole Big Ten realignment.

I remember the article, and want to use it as a source for something.  Yet, I just can't remember where that article was online.

Anyone remember this?  Anyone have a link?

A few weeks ago the wife was putting away laundry when she called me into the bedroom.  Holding up a pink thong she asks "Whose is this?  It isn't mine - is it yours?"  She was mad.  I laughed uncomfortably, "I don't know."  She threw it at my feet.  It wasn't mine, and I am faithful so it didn't belong to a mistress.  Yet there it was, unexplained, laying on the floor next to my side of the bed.

She gave me a very angry look.  I kind of laughed again and said that I really had no idea - I had never seen it before.

This story could have ended in a few bad ways.  Then I had a realization that took it down one of the worst possible paths.  "Didn't your mother change in our bedroom when she stayed here last week?"  I asked.

Muy mal article finding.

Do you remember which publication? If so, search their archives and you'll likely find it eventually.

Otherwise, there are about 300,000,000,000 articles in various sports publications that have been written about the ins and out of conference realignment in the Big Ten (as well as other conferences) that you could reference as well. I wouldn't necessarily confine myself to a single article, if I were you. There has been much written about this subject.

Good luck in your search. I must admit that I have no idea what you're referencing.

Very similar to the Married With Children episode where Al is going crazy at a record store trying to find a song that he only knows 3 sylables and one word to.

Except Al had more to go on than the OP.

This might be the articles that you are searching for - found on the Daily Gopher.  The link below is to the Nebraska article - which was part 7 and has links to the previous 6 stories..

Nebraska Article

There are links to the other 6 parts - all for teams that the Big Ten was or should consider: Rutgers (part 1); UConn (part 2); Syracuse (part 3); Pitt (part 4); Missouri (part 5); & Texas (part 6).

Notre Dame was supposed to be the 8th part - but I cannot find it anywhere.

Was this what you recall?
