Three safeties?
We will score multiple touchdowns in this game and Denard will come back and do Denard.
How is Bolivia this time of year?
Are you 13?
Says the guy who has -99780 MGoPoints. And gets every post negged as trolling.
Yes.
Ah, the you're-so-old-and-still-live-with-your-parents quip. Very creative, you are.
and says they don't CARE about this blog. . . ? Psychologists call that denial. Clinical-level. DSM-IV.
For someone who's a coach you're pretty immature.
usually weigh in on interweb fights, but are you aware that your signature states that you are a coach of not 1, but 2 different football teams? Anyone with a first grade reading level can determine that. It doesn't take a psychologist to figure this out.
EDIT: a cursory look at the Finger Lakes Impact website reveals that all coaching positions are available. Guess this means you don't coach at least one of those squads any more. Too bad you potentially still mold high school boys' minds on the field.
You need a timeout, "coach."
First noon game is in November. Wow.
We've got at least two. "The Game" is at noon on the 24th of November as well. ABC didn't waste a lot of time pulling in that one as well, it seems. I don't remember noon starts ever being this rare for us.
In any event, the noon start next week is fine. It will be what I watch while the awning for my back patio is finally, mercifully removed.
As much as I think we win the next 3, Minnesota, NW, and Iowa aren't that bad where they don't need to be taken seriously. Minnesota and Northwestern actually look okay.
NW scares me. They WILL score. We can't just sit on the ball and hope to win 17-10. And that's regardless of who our QB is.
Fire. Borges. I dont actually believe that but it would feel sooooo good right now. and I'm not even drunk anymore. Bellomy is his kind of guy, right? That's why we recruited him? to be...this? the future of our offense? Woooooo!
look like little offensive juggernauts! If Robinson is not back we may lose the LBJ!
You must have forgotten that Michigan plays defense unlike purdue.
minnesota gave up 31 to iowa. iowa.
That's true but if Denard isn't back Michigan may need to punt on first downs to get the Defense back out there. They are probably the best chance of scoring without him.
I'm on a floor in Lincoln. The world is dark and cold. I drank a lot. I can't believe I made this trip. I need new hobbies.
I don't think I've ever seen a quarterback's stat line worse than Bellomy's. I'm not trying to condemn him; the coaches bear the responsibility for that. It's just frustrating to see...whatever that was
Keep I mind that he probably had a 1/2 dozen drops last night by the receivers - I was more frustrated with them then Russ
this is true. they really did not want to catch anything he threw at them. But Nebraska did the right thing by sending pressure to see if he'd freeze up and he did. He's young. but he's also as far into Borges' system as Denard, for all intents and purposes. I don't know if Shane Morris is actually any good (hopefully, but you never know with high school kids), but I would be worried about my development here under Borges if he is
[PS: did i say system? I mean random amalgamation of plays designed to...not relate to each other at all. If you run it straight upfield for 2 yards every third play, certainly the other team will relent and give you points! that's football, a gentleman's game of mutual respect for giving the ball to the running backs until nothing happens. Why was last year so much different? And I know Borges had success coaching whats-his-name at SDSU, so I know hes had success. Im mostly concerned about how he thinks the whole punch-counterpunch thing works]
11 am local time kick offs
our first outdoor game in Minneapolis in 30 years.
I'm taking my boys to the game. I promised them we'd see Denard play. HS football football games have not allowed us to get to a game in the last 3 years. Finally, we have the chance and now....
Selfishly, we need him to play. Honestly, we need him to play. I'll worry about next season, next season.
Right now I'm worried about beating the Gophers.
Denard. If he doesn't play, no game is better than a 50-50 proposition and one is a guaranteed loss.
Naw, we can beat the gophers without Denard. That is if DG plays QB. I don't see anyway he doesn't.
About. Damn. Time.
A game that originally looked to be a nice smooth saturday suddenly looks very scary. I hope some good news comes our way this week.
I'm not sure whether to be excited about this. While I haven't missed a Michigan game in 10 years I'm not sure whether I really want to watch this or not. It could be an offensive explosion with Denard or another "anemia-fest" trying to scratch out field goals to win.
Minnesota has won only three times (against Michigan) since 1968.
That is three more than they should have got.
1986: we're rated #2, they beat us in the Big House when they are 5-4, with a home loss to Pacific.
1977: we're rated #1, we go up there and lose 16-0. I am less than a year old at the time, and my dad said that this one was not televised, so I have no earthly idea how that happened.
2005: they break one up the sidelines when they are trying to run out the clock and play for overtime, right after we call a timeout to try to get the ball back in time to attempt a field goal.
I swear, the next road night game we get will send me to the asylum. I don't know what it is about them, but we can not perform in that scenario.
Good. We will know our joy or misery earlier in the day
