Final Four Open Thread

Not a lot of easy to root for teams, but maybe some good games. If anyone still has pool hopes, good luck, but I'm dead in the water. Thanks Kansas.

I win my pool if osu wins tonight or if I win the tiebreaker in the final...id actually prefer osu winning and then having dreams crushed in the finals as I blow my winnings on celebratory beers

so adidas  gets to change louisville's school colors and put them in orange uniforms by calling it "infrared"?

i'm glad brandon came to his senses and decided to move away from highlighter yellow sponsored by adidas...

How the hell has Kentucky lost two games this season? These guys look unstoppable right now. I hope Kentucky fans enjoy this now since it will be vacated in a couple years.

If Kansas wins I should win my pool easily, so go Jayhawks.

Louisville needs to stop posting Dieng. Post Behanan he can make some shots down there. Dieng has Morgan type hands around the basket.

Siva needs to stop taking the ball to the rack. If he is going to shoot it while penetrating, he needs to shoot it in the 8 foot range to stay away from Kentucky's Bigs, sorta like Khalid El-Amin did when he scorched the unbeatable Dookies in the Finals

Louisville's center Denge has bad hands. Their point guard is just getting beat down the court every time on D. Their uniforms are a sin too. Damn you Adidad. You too Nike.

Were his fault for not handling the ball (missed dunk being one of those).  But another one or two of those were very hard plays/balls to handle.  Siva getting so deep in the lane and trying to dish usinga bounce pass in that traffic is VERY hard for Dieng to handle..Crouching over to catch a mini-bounce pass, standing at > 6'10 and in the middle of traffic ain't easy.

Sorry but i'm pulling for OSU.  They really arent a rival in bball like MSU is (we dont fight over the same recruits for the most part) and they are representing the B1G.

to the final four, very opportunistic. Behind by 7 at the half, you gotta figure the pressure they place on Kentucky will be just as bad if not worse. The Wildcats had their way early on but it's a catfight now.

Or is it a bird battle, hmmm? *places pinky to mouth*

Louisville better get a run in soon. Somehow, I don't see Kentucky collapsing down the stretch like Florida did. The Cardinals can't afford to fall too far behind.

This game is eerily similar to the Iowa State Kentucky game. Iowa State came out in the second half, made a run to get close but couldn't sustain it. Hopefully Louisville can keep this one close.

Is full of "mini-runs".  They keep this close (under 6 pts) and get to 2 minutes, it's anyone's ballgame.  Louisville on the glass is a bit unexpected but when you go for shot-blocking like UK does it isn't all THAT surprising.  Go Cardinals, I think.

I think OSU matches up with Kentucky better than Kansas, so I will be rooting for the Buckeyes in the second semifinal. Either way it will be an uphill battle. Damn, knew I should have picked Kentucky instead of Michigan to win it all.

You have to keep it slow, keep them in the half court and hope they try to shoot from the outside. Easier said than done as this seems to be a more mature and mentally tougher uk team than ive seen under calipari

Though I think I finish higher in my pool if the Buckeyes win. And can torture myself more on how I should have won. Kansas however gives me someone to root for on Monday night. Novak mentioned for the Senior Class Award. Which goes to Hummel in his 8th senior year, so I guess he deserves it.
