I think it came down to the two air balls by UK late. Kentucky up by four, ran bad isolation plays and the ball handler freaks out when there's no one to pass to. Changed the game.

pretty graceful in post game press conference. Ends it though by saying something about kids sacrificing for the team and still being able to be the number 1 pick.

Big ten - football champions, wrestling champions, 2 teams in final four. Hell of a year for the conference and yet still the media outlets praise the SEC more

Today was a good day. Kentucky finally loses, to a B1G team no less, MSU gets revealed as a fluke team and Harbaugh coached his first game in the Big House.

Losing with class is unheard of some places!! Why is it so hard to say that Frank played well, is a good player. Things like this is why I enjoyed Kentucky losing the way they did, all of them started pouting in disbelief. The UK fans all assumed there was no team in the NCAA that could beat them. The media suggested Kentucky would make the nba playoffs in the east, and could beat the Knicks. All the hype went to Kentucky players' heads, and they ran into a well coached, talented, experienced bunch of Badgers. I hope Ashley Judd eats 60 pints of ice cream and weighs in at 348 next year.

A clear example is from our own state.  Beilein heaped continually praise on Michigan State this season.

Last year after losing again to Michigan, Trice says "We are still the better team" instead of tipping his hat.

Or Izzo's explaination for the continued losing to Michigan To the media - 'Well you guys wanted a rivalry"

That's exactly why today was so delicious. Sparties and their fans can rip on Michigan not making the tournament, but getting them getting their heart ripped out after all this Izzo March bullshit by Duke yet AGAIN feels oh so right.

For the NCAA tourney on the Wall Street Journal website.  Could tweak FG%, FT%, Rebounds, Turnovers, etc.  Had it run over 48,000 tournaments using several different settings for those variables.  Most frequent final pairing -- Duke/Wiscy.  Most frequent champ -- Wiscy.  Yikes, this can't have worked.

aw man i recorded the game but it ended up being the kentucky team stream broadcast.  god it was insufferable to listen to rex chapman be such a homer and all the more sweeter when they got knocked off.
