Always thought those big, colorful Final Four designs were gorgeous. Can't believe Michigan basketball will be on the grandest stage!!
With the joyless standard-issue black-and-blue NCAA courts throughout the rest of the tournament, the FF is the only time the court doesn't disgust me now. Seriously, why does every site need to look exactly the same?

So true. It was so cool to see all of the different floors out there. And it isn't like the locales have changed. They still play at Rupp, New Mexico, UNC Greensboro...the same old sites.

Per a company press release, the same company made the reusable floors used in the first, second, and third rounds (the NCAA stores them away each year and has the ends updated with the host school name)
Although I'm sure even with those black-and-blue lookalike courts the craftsmanship of the wood is excellent and it's just the stupid Indianapolis bureaucrats or college administrators to blame for those monstrosities.
Also, "One Shining Moment" was written by Ann Arbor's very own David Barrett.
