but OSU's short-yardage game hasn't been good tonight and this is an all-American kicker kicking a glorified extra point.
Completely different situation from Richt, who was putting a mediocre kicker at the edge of his range.
Stanford's decision was in between. The guy hadn't missed a kick of that distance all year until the last game of the season; now he's missed three in a row.
