A few minor recruiting notes
December 11th, 2011 at 3:00 PM ^
That is great news but what about, Dunn.
December 11th, 2011 at 3:02 PM ^
Wasn't he supposed to visit this weekend with Kalis?
December 11th, 2011 at 3:03 PM ^
No he went to OSU this weekend:(
December 11th, 2011 at 3:11 PM ^
we should be in great position
December 11th, 2011 at 3:15 PM ^
Ah, I thought that was last weekend. In that case, didn't he reschedule his Michigan visit for next weekend with Kalis? It will be interesting to see how he reacts to this visit. If he still wants to visit Ann Arbor after this weekend, I would say we're in fantastic shape.

Jordan Diamond had time of his life at TSIO per scout.

Diamond is a tattoo aficionado.

Every thread doesn't need a Dunn update.
December 11th, 2011 at 3:14 PM ^
While I some what agree with you, this thread is a recruiting update. So I think if a comment about Dunn comes up so be it.
December 11th, 2011 at 3:26 PM ^
There don't need to be daily Dunn updates. If there was news, it probably would have been included. Your comment minimizes a pretty informative post.
Its not that big of a deal and I don't mean to go after one person, but I just think people get overly fixated on certain recruits. Its better to enjoy the good news and not set yourself up to be disappointed if an eighteen year old doesn't make the choice you want.
December 11th, 2011 at 5:31 PM ^
Dunn just took a poop. I'll have more information in the next thread.
December 11th, 2011 at 6:04 PM ^
Isn't there a better version of your avatar elsewhere online? Floppy cartoon cock & balls, so that's where you draw the line?
December 11th, 2011 at 6:23 PM ^
people are paying so much attention to Dunn is due to the recent activity regarding his recruitment. Borges and Jackson were just in home with his family, the official this weekend and then hopefully the visit to UM next weekend. In light of the OV to ohio it makes sense that fans have their antenna up regarding news about yesterday. Getting him would not only add a big 5* talent in an area of need it would also signal another victory towards the changing tide in the Ohio/Michigan rivalry. Similar to the competition for the services of one TP, when RR arrived, whom I'm glad we never saw sporting maize n blue. Hopefully this one turns out with Dunn in the fold.
December 11th, 2011 at 3:07 PM ^
on this week to see what he does following his official visit to Ohio this weekend.
December 11th, 2011 at 3:14 PM ^
Ever since Urban Meyer got hired, the tide has turned against Michigan on this one. Its going to be very hard for Hoke and co. to pry him away from Ohio State. Time to focus on other recruits.
December 11th, 2011 at 3:23 PM ^
Agreed, it's time to bid sayonara and work on the other targets.
December 11th, 2011 at 3:25 PM ^
Is this a fact? Have you talked to Dunn about this?
December 11th, 2011 at 3:38 PM ^
But every single update I've read in the last two weeks or so, has been negative. Perhaps your reading comprehension talents have led you to a different conclusion.
December 11th, 2011 at 6:33 PM ^
I think Borges and Jackson having an in home with his family is not negative. Quite the opposite, I think it's very positive. If this was just a fomality, if he were still leaning heavily toward ohio or even undecided why have Borges and Jackson meet with the entire family? Why muddy the waters with their involvement? If you're going to make a decision that may be unpopular with the community I would think it makes sense to enlist their support ahead of that decision.
December 11th, 2011 at 3:25 PM ^
He may be getting a lot of interest right now but it's because prospects want to see what's going down at OSU. It will have an affect on 2013 recruiting but there will always be those prospects that want to come to Michigan like Dymonte Thomas. Also it may seem like we aren't recruiting much but our coaching staff is preparing for a bowl game while at OSU they have one staff preparing for the bowl game and the other staff purely recruiting
December 11th, 2011 at 3:53 PM ^
Damn, they better not be selling out of OSU jerseys down there.
December 11th, 2011 at 3:54 PM ^
Or in Ann Arbor.
December 11th, 2011 at 4:16 PM ^
It's clear as day......
December 11th, 2011 at 5:21 PM ^
Is that Wormley in background ?
December 11th, 2011 at 5:45 PM ^
affirmative
December 11th, 2011 at 5:49 PM ^
and gant up front?
December 11th, 2011 at 10:08 PM ^
yes sir
December 11th, 2011 at 4:37 PM ^
Are you insinuating that people are buying up Ohio jerseys in Michigan?
Don't fear the Meyer. It's going to be okay. The sky is not falling.
December 12th, 2011 at 12:35 AM ^
I think Hoke has changed the tide on the rivalry. Hell people in Ohio are starting to believe him. Never in a million years I would have thought that. Selling Michigan jerseys is a good start.
December 11th, 2011 at 4:34 PM ^
I received word from a little birdy Friday night that the visit didn't start off very well. No idea if that sentiment carried through the weekend, nor would I consider that an ironclad guarantee that Ohio is sunk.
The consensus opinion is if he schedules a visit to Michigan then we are still in the running for the man's pledge.
December 11th, 2011 at 6:23 PM ^
Interesting. Care to say more?
December 11th, 2011 at 3:00 PM ^
This news is right up there with the little girl singing!
December 11th, 2011 at 4:01 PM ^
A good December when we're talking about minor recruiting hunches, watching videos of little children sing the victors, and booking our flight to New Orleans.
December 11th, 2011 at 3:01 PM ^
By all accounts Chesson is the last WR in the class, seeing as how he will announce in about 10 days, and Payton hasen't come close to wrapping up his recruitment yet. Great news on Yuri, though, he is a total stud. Thanks for the updates!
December 11th, 2011 at 3:04 PM ^
Whats going to happen to Payton when ND,Cal, and Michigan are all stocked up on recievers?
December 11th, 2011 at 3:06 PM ^
I would like to think there will be a spot for Payton no matter what, that could be wishful thinking though.
December 11th, 2011 at 3:18 PM ^
He's not quite that good. Especially with the class winding down like it is, I doubt we would take any WR except for Diggs if we already had 2 in the class. Payton is a consensus 4 star, and assuming Chesson commits the rest of the guys on our radar will be 4/5 star guys at positions that have not yet been filled.
December 11th, 2011 at 3:23 PM ^
He has plenty of options in terms of offers, but I'm not sure about the situation at each school.
December 11th, 2011 at 3:25 PM ^
If he wants to stay in California I guarantee UCLA would take him.
December 11th, 2011 at 3:02 PM ^
Michigan had 19 Visitors over the weekend. Good news for us!!!!
December 11th, 2011 at 3:04 PM ^
Is there a list of all the players that came over the weekend?
December 11th, 2011 at 3:05 PM ^
19 visitors? That's great! Sounds almost like a game weekend.
December 11th, 2011 at 3:16 PM ^
The majority of the recruits on campus this weekend were all current commits. I think around 12 of them.
December 11th, 2011 at 3:08 PM ^
They have another 3 star receiver committed and they are still pursuing Diggs and Payton.
That's got to be concerning for an uncommitted receiver that is thinking about Cal.
December 11th, 2011 at 3:12 PM ^
Of course Colorado sucked. They no longer have whores helping recruit.
But seriously, I couldn't name Colorado's coach if you put a gun to my head.
December 11th, 2011 at 5:03 PM ^
I think.
December 11th, 2011 at 5:13 PM ^
oops sorry the gun accidently went off. Jon Embree, might be right, I have no idea. I know that when I think of Colorado, I still mumble and curse the name of Kordell Stewart.....
December 11th, 2011 at 5:51 PM ^
Female kickers and sexual harassment. Perhaps I'm too young
December 11th, 2011 at 9:46 PM ^
Who at Colorado sucked?
