"Rodrick Williams Jr.'s 10-month old, 2-foot-long savannah monitor named "Kill" gets the RB some strange looks when they go for walks together."
A few minor recruiting notes
step behind it seems on this kid....but overall they are my favorite
He plays in a full house backfield and doesn't lead block so why should they consider him a FB? Not to mention he is extremely small for a FB considering our walk on FB, Joey Kerridge, was 225ish at the same point in his HS career.
Brionte is a good 20+ pounds heavier than the FB who is going to be his lead blocker. Wyatt Shallman who is a year younger and also being recruited as a tailback is 30+ pounds heavier.
Well these sites rate kids at the position they project to - there's a reason Pharoah Brown isn't a quarterback on these recruiting site even though he plays quarterback for his high school. That's why I agree that they are a step behind by still listing him as a fullback
From the Pittsburgh Post Gazette today:
Monday's subject is Fox Chapel's Adam Bisnowaty, the 6-6, 275-pound offenisve lineman from Fox Chapel. He's definitely one of the more colorful high school players I've talked with in a while. Good sense of humor, has insightful answers and interesting comments.
As for Bisnowaty's recruiting, he said he also plans to narrow his list of schools to five or six soon. The kid has gotten around this summer. He visited Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Purdue, Florida and even went to Oregon. He's also been to Pitt and the Panthers will definitely be on his final list. Penn State will not.
"Penn State did offer me," Bisnowaty said. "But they said they were taking four linemen in this class and they have four. Now they might have two openings, but I'm not sure if they're still recruiting me or not. It's sort of a deal where they're out of it. It's a great school and a great program, but it's just not for me."
Haven't heard lately where Michigan is at with him, but at least he won't be going to happy valley.
Lol, I almost posted this but I thought it would make my post to long. +1 for you.
Is going to PSU really a bad thing these days? The only time we would face him in a class there is during a championship game.
We wouldn't face him as a freshman, but definitely would as a sophomore and junior http://www.mgoblue.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/081809aab.html
I recently retweeted something from Scout's Bob Lichtenfels where he said Bisnowaty's gotten a whole host of written offers since the date they were allowed (August 1st) but Michigan was not one of them. Could be nothing, could be something, I don't know..
Where have you heard that the staff isn't ready to take Diamond's commitment? My understanding is that Diamond is still sorting through his options.
I WOULD MUCH RATHER HAVE JOSHUA GARNETT THE #1 GUARD IN THE COUNTRY WE HAVE A FEW TACKLE COMMITMENTS AND I THINK STACEY'S BEING GROOMED TO PLAY CENTER SO GARNETT WOULD TOP OR O-LINE OFF VERY NICELY
Hilarious.....started laughing as soon as i seen it.
This is where a tremendous moderation would come into play.
The chick in that pic has a nice rack
my bad take it easy hun. And o yea GO BLUE!
Are you a female?
On the internets?
No way, man. No way.
They stalling diamond cause they waiting on that 5 star guard from Washington
“When it comes down to it, the president has take the blame if something goes good, but also share the wealth when something goes great.”
That is Banner talking about the responsibilities of being class President. He is now my favorite recruit.
If his athleticism is all its made out to be, I would love to see a 6'9" 330lb beast on the hardwood for John Beilein. Of course, watching him line up next to Kalis, Magnuson, Braden, Bars and Stacey would be priceless. If M is able to pick up any of the trio of Garnett/Diamond/Banner (or, God forbid, two of the three!) there is no way the O-line haul of 2012, in addition to the front 7 of the D, doesn't lead to a national championship in 2014. That will be D. Gardner's RS-Sr season with Shane backing him up. I wish I could time-travel...
I'm behind the other candidate who wants a taco bar in the cafeteria anyway.
With a name like ritzy I thought u were. Hey aren't we talking bout our o-line situation
Please hit reply to the particular message to which you're replying.

Other than that, really solid first six posts on this board.
like please learn to write your hurting my head maybe u should go here
I think ratings are over-rated. I believe Diamond as well as the #1 rated Banner, either one would be a solid pick up.
Garnett is one impressive young man. He's ambitious in the classroom and a wrecking ball on the field. Sounds like a Michigan man to me!! I've wanted Diamond forever but this kid really fits our program. Wish we had two OL spots left.
how could you say no to either. I realize the target was 6 OL, but do you ever turn down a super?
Yes, refer to Tommy Schutt. When you are full at a position, you're full.
But with Shutt we would have been a rebound commit. I don't know how solid of a commit that would be. And if we were to take a 2nd DT you'ld think we would check w O'brian first. Shutt wasn't on our horizon.
The point was though that a kid's rating doesn't necessarily mean we have a spot for him.
We turned down Schutt because we had Pipkins. Would we turn down a Banner or a Garnett or a Diamond etc. if one of the others committed? Most likely.
If you closed our eyes and heard Josh Garnett talk, you'd think it was Suh's voice.
