Ferrara

John Ferrara looked pretty good today in for Moosman...the offense didnt miss a beat and they opened up huge holes. Anyone see otherwise? i thought he looked very good, especially for his first start this year as a converted DL.

He looked good, and will be fine for next week as well against Indiana. I wouldn't mind seeing Molk and Mooseman not start next week. The season is building into something great and if we have an opprotunity to get some key players rested, we should take it. I also would really like to see Denard get more snaps next week. He looked much better today than he did in the Western game.

Molk will really me missed against Sparty if he's out for that one. MSU blitzes up the middle alot, having your 3rd string center in there (if Moosman and Molk can't go, leaving us with Rocko Khoury) could be real trouble. Was really hopeing the Oline would stay healthy this year and develop well. The played well yesterday, and really seem to be "getting it", I hope it continues and we see no noticeable drop off from the injuries.

Ferrara started about 1/2 the games at guard last year, and he played OK. And, ihatestate - because, clearly, the coaching staff would rather have Ferrara on the field at G at Mooseman at C (what is being proposed) than having Barnum at C. It's that simple.
