I live in Gainesville, and it is a freakishly quiet night. In the ten years I've lived here, this has only happened one other time. 2007 Capital One bowl. I just thought you should know. Go blue.

The Florida fans in our section today were really quite easy to get along with. Of course an early 15 point deficit shuts a lot of fan bases up......

I have relatives in KC - I don't hear a lot of noise from that direction. My daughter was receiving a lot of texts from her Jayhawk cousin at the beginning of the game.

I have a relative who is a Florida grad - pretty quiet down there.

I have a good friend who is an IU grad. You can be sure I heard from him earlier this year. I just told him that I was anxiously awaiting the Michigan/IU matchup in the tournament, but that I couldn't find IU listed, which seemed odd given there were only 4 teams. His only response was "Bite Me". How unoriginal.

Having graduated from Florida during the Tebow and oah championship runs, i can tell you that Gainesville is a heck of a place to party when the Gators win. Other than making decent size trees march down the road, there is no burning of anything. I can only imagine last night they were drinking their sorrows away. At least last nights game meant one of my teams made the final four!

There is a mix of Spartan and Buckeye fans in various corners of the building here. Some of them even made the effort to tell me that they did not think much of Michigan's chances against Kansas before I left last Wednesday for an extended weekend. Today, not a word - indeed, some of them are doing their best to look buried in paperwork. It's a wonderful sight in a way.

I live in Orlando, and when I came into work this morning, I had numerous coworkers who are Florida State fans come up to me and high five/congratulate me on the win yesterday. Haven't been approached by any Gator fans yet, though...

Gator Grad student checking in here. Definitely watched yesterday's game in the solace of my own home. Didn't want to burn any bridges with the Gator faithful. I would say most grad students here come from other schools with less notorious sports programs, so many of them join the Gators unanimously. They didn't understand that my loyalty lies with my undergrad school.

Sure was satisfying burying the last team standing in the way for our Final Four berth. If we are as on as we were yesterday, I don't think anyone can stop us.
