It is indeed way too early, although knowing historically how early April can be around these parts, it sounds just about right all the same. It could be 45, cold and with passing showers or it could be, as in some years, 85 degrees with monstrous spring downpours then followed by the 45 degree day. To be in Michigan in April....

Yes - anyone know what the logic is behind having break in the middle? Where are the players during that break? If they are on their own somewhere "fun" for break, isnt it safe to say they will come back in worse shape which will make the first few days back not as useful and the remaining days so few because two were spent before the break.

yeah they break when classes let out but the kids will probably only get an extended weekend or so away from campus.  at least thats how they handled when i played.  they obviously only have so many practice hours so they space it out on purpose like that, at least most teams do.  breaks or days off are very helpful especially during installs - prob more so for such a young squad with issues.  and the leaders and s&c staff handle some stuff when theyre not in shells or full go with coaches.  usually have several practices then 11v11 or 7v7, then several more followed by scrimmage, etc.  i think thats how hoke has handled as well.  hopefully the fellas have a healthy and productive spring and enter summer with positive mo

Yes, because Battle at The Big House III is at 3pm. Good news for out of towners: the spring game will be live on BTN. Last year it wasn't on BTN due to ohio scheduling theirs at the same time on the same day. Spring game and Battle at The Big House III on BTN. Lacrosse will unfortnuately travel to ohio stadium for their game held before their spring game a week later on BTN.

Love seeing the spring game practice, but at the same time if the Defense does well against the 1's on offense then we will still think the Offense is terrible..

Same thing goes with the Defense if our Offense dominates..

I posted a thread about a couple of years ago. Brandon said that Ford Field could host a spring game one day.

The only thing is- that takes a chunk of cash away from the city of Ann Arbor. As well as the other sporting events held around the spring game to try to lure the football fans into.

Should have played there in 2008. No doubt. Seeing Michigan play at Saline......odd.

of the year. I can't wait to make the trek over to the Big House baby and see what these kids are looking like for next fall. I wonder if the snow is gonna melt in time. If this winter is any indication I wonder if it will snow that Sat..... er how deep will the snow be on the ground that Saturday is more like it, of coarse it will snow.

Ok enough,  time to start thinking positive, after all it is 2014 fer godsakes. It will not snow and we all will be wearing our favorite UM T- Shirts. Start the mantra now repeat after me,

Hell no it won't snow If it does iwe'll still go.

Hell no it won't snow. If it does we'll still go.
