Fantasy Football Start/Sit Playoff Edition
I have a tough choice at QB for my fantasy playoffs. I've got to choose between Eli Manning (hot, but going up against the Panthers) and Matt Ryan (stinking it up, but going against the Jags).
Do I go with the hot player in a bad matchup, or the guy who is struggling but playing one of the worst pass D's in the NFL? My heart tells me never jump off the hot player, my head says never overlook a juicy matchup like the Jags pass D.
Thoughts? I may just flip a coin.
Feel free to use this thread for other Fantasy Football start/sit decisions for the games that haven't started yet.

Between those two I'd take Eli but only barely. I'd take Tyrod Taylor over either of those two, and he's only owned in 35% of leagues on NFL, FWIW.

I have both in my league and I'm going with Floyd. He's got a great matchip against a terrible secondary and has been very productive when healthy this season. The same can be said for Hurns, but I hate leaning on a guy who you know is only going to get 3-5 catches when you have Floyd with that juicy matchup

I was looking for this thread before the D v NYJ game. I was not sure whether to start D Mac or Tyler Lockett at my flex. I started D Mac so hopefully he goes off and Lockett has meh kind of game?
I do want some advice on starting Big Ben with a hotish offense or Phillip Rivers against a really bad Miami D even with few receiving options?

I'm starting Lockett in my flex. Not a big fan of the RBBC that is going to be happening in Seattle. They've been riding Wilson's arm the past couple of games anyway, so I'd take Lockett, especially when you figure in that he's always a threat to run back a punt/kickoff return.

Thank you for serving our country!!!! We traveled from Battle Creek to Toledo for Christmas at my in-laws. Visiting, unpacking, a new work computer, finding my father-in-laws internet password took me to right before the game. My focus was on should I play A Cooper or D Mac and at the bottom of my BN was Lockett. Once the game started I felt good about playing D Mac over A Cooper but then saw Lockett on my bench and did a face palm. Oh well, I still do need advice on my QB.

Thank you for your support. You have no idea what it means to all of us.
I'd go with Eli honestly. The Falcons are a mess offensively. The Panthers D is good, but they also gave up 40? to the Saints. Eli has OBJ, who has been on fire recently.

I have been leaning this way as I have BB in my starting lineup. Miami is so bad right now and I have been seeing that Inman for San Diego as a waiver surprise waiver wire add. So I am not set with my decision yet.

I have a couple dilemmas this week in my lineup as well. I need two choose two of the following three WR.
Randall Cobb @ Oak, Brandin Cooks vs Det, Amari Cooper vs GB
Then either Roethlisberger or Stafford. Big Ben is against one of the best pass D's in the league but I never, ever like trusting Stafford (even in a good matchup).

For QBs, I would go with Stafford. He's got the better matchup by far and can actually have good fantasy days against weak defenses. As for WR, I would go with Cooks for sure. Toss up between Cobb and Cooper to me, maybe a slight lean to Cooper

Charcandrick or Denard? ( I know this is a dumb question here).

sit fitz. Honestly I'd take West as the Chiefs rely on the run, while the Jags tend to pass a lot. TJ Yeldon, their normal RB, only has like 3 rushing TD's on the year.

Amendola. Pats pass a bunch. Seattle going to pass a bunch as well, and Carroll has already said he's going to "ride the hot hand"

The problem with that is NE is likely to be out infront early and will likely run the ball. Seattla also will likely be out in front early. Take Brown.

I need an RB2 and a Flex.
-Buck Allen, BAL vs. KC
-Brandon Bolden, NE vs. TEN
-James White, NE vs. TEN
Do I do NE RB by committee, or choose one and play Allen?
