They're sure bitter, but on some level, this guy was just asking for trouble. I'm reminded of something Bruce Willis/John McClain had to do in Die Hard 3...

asking for trouble

Also reminds me of a Chappelle or Rock (can't recall) stand up joke.....You may not be a "woman of negotiable affection", but you're wearing the uniform.

If you don't want trouble...don't look for it.

I saw this last night.  That's bullshit that the kid got booted for wearing a basketball jersey.  Yeah, he was stirring the pot but didn't do anything wrong.  I hope they at least refunded his money.

He should have been kicked out bc he hit a sore topic in that city intentionally. They removed him probably for his own safety, as well as the people who unfortunatly sat around him. As for refunding your money, they probably didn't bc he caused a comotion/disturbance and they removed the trouble maker, as happens all the time without refunding his money

No, but if respect the people around you and not be an ass, then you will be fine outside of the normal shit given out by rival fans. If you go there wearing a Clemson Bauman jersey, you are asking for trouble, and yes, you should be removed. Or, closer to home, wearing an app st jearsey to the following game.

You have the right to do whatever you want in our society, but living with the consequences goes hand in hand. Wearing a Heat LBJ jearsey to an Indians game is practically inciting a riot. He was free to wear it, but the consequences for intentionally pissing off the home fans was getting removed and not being refunded his money. How does that not make sense?

A person's clothing should never be grounds for expulsion (unless we're talking indecent exposure).  I'll defend a guy's right to wear an App State jersey to Michigan Stadium.  Yes, it's obnoxious, but if he bought a ticket it's his right to wear what he wants.  I don't have to look at it.

You've got to be kidding me.  They kicked him out.  What if the fans were heckling a Yankee fan who was there to enjoy the game and support his team by wearing a Jeter jersey.  Would they escort the Yankee fan out of the stadium?  Sounds crazy to me, but then again it is Ohio.  My guess is the fan was doing more than just sitting there with the jersey on.

Could be that security was just trying to avoid a bigger issue that may have eventually happened if either he (jersey wearer) or the hecklers were not removed. Easier to just remove the jersey wearer. Not fair, sure. Unreasonable, don't know about that.

wearing a Colts jersey to the first Ravens game.  If you know something is a sore point for the fans in the city, then you should know better than to poke at it and then act surprised when people get mad.

What motivates a person to do this? Just looking for a fight? Maybe he was hoping LeBron would flip him a couple bucks for staying loyal, once the footage of him getting his ass beat on sportscenter made it to Miami. What a knob.

I remember a guy wearing an App St. shirt to the YMCA in A2 shortly after the Horror, and thought he was a massive tool for doing it.  After listening to him talk for a minute, it was confirmed that he just wanted attention and was, in fact, a tool.

I'm sure it seemed funny in retrospect, but the only person who was going to find this funny is the guy wearing the jersey to the game, and at that point, why even do it?  He probably spent $100 dollars on a dumb ploy to get attention, and basically all it proved is that somebody needs to refill the chlorine in the gene pool so that goobers like this will stop procreating.

The only thing that anyone needs to learn from this is that Cleveland is a city filled with losers.  They have always been losers and will always be losers.  I remember being devastated when Grant Hill left for Orlando, but I would have never heckled someone about it.  Just remember, Cleveland residents for the most part root for OSU, enough said.

Are you that sad of a person?  Why does shitty management combined with terrible teams make all of Cleveland's residents losers?  Sure almost all of Cleveland is Ohio State fans, but seriously, can you blame them?  What else besides Ohio State can anyone in Cleveland take pride in when it comes to sports?  Most Cleveland fans are OSU assholes because OSU is the only thing that doesn't let them down year in and year out.

So guy intentionally pours gasoline on a lit match, and people are acting all surprised that it caused it to ignite?

Where's the story here?

I fully agree that wearing that jersey was a total douchebag move, but I don't think that alone is reason to kick him out.  I don't like the idea that wearing the "wrong" clothing can get you in trouble.  Now if his behavior warranted an ejection, that's obviously different.

You're just asking for trouble when you wear rival apparel in enemy territory.  I remember watching Wisconsin fans getting their cheese heads thrown out of the Big House two years ago.  However, that was justified.

On another note, he should have been kicked out for wearing a flat-billed hat.

all he had to do was take the shirt off and set it on fire...and then Clevelanders probably would have been buying him drinks all night.
