watching the UNC game.

I would think a 30 for 30 about the amazing '89 run on the heels of the Freider firing would be a better story for us.  I know it would never happen, and admittedly, the Fab 5 is a better story for about 95% of America.

This is one of the things you have to pull out when your son/daughter asks what it means to be a Michigan fan.  This era of Michigan athletics was so pivotal, and so colorful, that it tied together so many important actors and narratives, with spectacular results, some good, some shameful.  Plus it helped galvanize the fan base to a degree back in March, when everyone was still bummed out about the switch from Reformation to Counter-Reformation.

Brings back so many memories watching this.  This is when I became a Michigan fan and learned "The Victors".  Such a great run and wish it would have turned out differently but it reminds me of the time when I started my love for Michigan athletics. Blue forever!
