ezeh position?
where was ezeh playing at? he was on the field at the same time as demens for a lot of the game. he finished with 5 tackles. were we playing with 4 lb's (gordon, mouton, demens, ezeh). was he replacing banks? i noticed black didnt play (or didnt play much).

He played Craig Roh's old position. He didn't do a terrible job which is a big improvement over his play at MIKE.

so Roh slid over to Banks position?

I think Ezeh came in as a linebacker when they went with a 3-3 look and Roh came on as the fourth down linemen when they went in that direction.

I thought Fitzgerald did a fine job at LB. Roh looked much better as a DE, and I'm glad the coaches allowed the change.

I don't know much about football, but it looked like they gave him something like Roh's position. I thought he played much better. People who kept blaming him for long completions on the liveblog were completely off the rocker.

I will reserve effusive praise until the UFR but I'll take contribution.

at the very least, hes now at a position with less negative potential. plus the fact that he doesnt have to make directional reads should let him use his natural athleticism.

Cam made some nice tackles today as well. They just need to keep teaching the basics.

Agreed with those above for him taking Roh's spot. I like it because he could release into rushes without having to think or read as much. He didn't get tested in scraping and contain that I saw, which is PERFECT for his I can hit if I'm not reading and being force fed released OL.

Who is Anderson@LCB?
November 6th, 2010 at 4:57 PM ^
Tony Anderson, redshirt junior. Player bio here.

tony anderson.

IIRC, Anderson only came in at CB in goal line situations. Usually he's limited to special teams action.

Anderson made a real nice takkle (I like the way I spelled that, it looks swedish or something) on one of the kick-offs.

Where is Talbott on the CB depth chart? Is he 3rd string now?
November 6th, 2010 at 4:51 PM ^
and thought he didn't look like death. Amazing

Nice job of scooping up that non-fumble with one-hand. That was impressive.
November 6th, 2010 at 6:10 PM ^
down a few times. On short yardage situations.

but I was pretty pleased (with the exception of a few plays) with the play of Gordon and Kovacs on the Triple Option. We were extremely close on several plays of tipping that ball. Kovacs made one huge play in forcing Scheelhaas to pitch the ball high.
GO BLUE!
