Since Denard doesn't touch the ground when running, I'm guessing RUN RUN RUN.  Seriously though, it better not rain, I went to the ND-Michigan game two years ago, and it was THE worst weather (for most of the week, let along most of the game.)

I was at all three of those games... and in my life, I have never felt rain like the second half of the ND game.  It rained 6 inches that weekend; that's just monsoonish.  I struggled to walk up the stairs of the stadium because so much water was flowing down the stairs.

I fear no gameday weather forecast because I survived that game.

You got as soaking wet as in the ND game, but it was cold, and then about half way through, it all froze. So you were coated in ice.  If there's every a worse weather game, I'm not sure I want to be in it. (And as comparison, how many people left all the other games listed on here because of the weather? There were NOT 100,000 in the Stadium that day, and if 25,000 made it to the end, that was a miracle.)

GR (WOOD TV) has the weather as 78 with a chance of rain (30%) later in the evening as does the South Bend station.  For starters, never trust the Weather Channel.  They are the TMZ of weather.  Go with weather.gov or local news stations for forecasts.

Speaking of forecasts- I didn't want to pollute the board w/ a simple Q and A session, but can anyone point me to the standard game week posting schedule (i.e. when UFRS, previews, etc come out)?

As for the impact of this forecast, I'm pretty sure the importance of HOLD ONTO THE DAMN BALL just went up given 2 years ago in South Bend.

That book was always one of my favorites growing up, so I got sort of excited when I heard they were making a movie.  The first time I watched the trailer online, for the first 30 seconds I thought I'd clicked the wrong link because there was no apparent resemblance to the book -- it had the same title, but it had a main character and a storyline that didn't exist in the book.  I'm still mad at them for making the movie.

In summary: leave my childhood alone, Hollywood.

That movie was so rediculously not like the book!  I mean the movie was okay, but for God's sake... make a freaking movie like the book or else just say it's based off the book and call it something else.

I was very saddened.  I felt like I was cheating out future generations of kids, who whenever they hear "Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs" they'll think of that stinking movie.

I went camping this weekend (AFTER the watching game of course), and all week the forecast was showing sun.  On Friday night the forecast changed to 50% chance of rain and the highs dropped by about five degrees, which let to a relatively damp and cold couple of nights.

This is a great opportunity to work on our ball possession skills in poor weather.  Maybe even show people that this offense is even more devastating in bad weather?

Offenses always have the edge in bad weather if they go where they are supposed to go and do it fast.

Remember what Rich says: "play fast".

did not stop Rich Rodriguez at West Virginia (rain, sleet, snow) nor Brian Kelly at GVSU, CMU, Cincy (rain, sleet, cold) from putting up ridiculous yardage and points.

Both offense versions can tear it up on the ground, though Dayne Crist is not a comparable run threat to a Ben Mauk or Zach Collaros. He's a gimpier version of Tony Pike, Steven Threet.

I bet they don't cut the grass on the field at all this week. They will leave it long to try to slow down Denard. If it rains, it will also be somewhat slick. John Falk will be sure to bring several different options for cleats for the game. This is one instance where having the best equipment guy in the business really helps.
