Evening / Late Night Games Open Thread

Submitted by LSAClassOf2000 on

I was frankly shocked that no such thread was currently up as we're typically so conscious of the slate. No matter, a few notable ones:

Florida State / Oklahoma State - currently 10-0 FSU with the first quarter nearly over.

LSU / Wisconsin - this should be an interesting one. I think it is the only SEC / Big Ten game scheduled this season.

Oregon / South Dakota - Prediction? Pain. No, seriously, the line has Oregon winning by an amount yet to be computed.

I don't think I've ever found a non-M game more unplesant than this one.

Please put in Stave. McEvoy looks more helpless than Sheridan ever did. I know it's mostly the recievers, but gotta do something.

Maybe it is hard to recruit WRs when you are going to run RBs 17 out of 20 plays.

Sounds like Stave is hurt or something so I understand in that case.  Then it's just doom.

I think their only chance is to go down the field 3 yards per play and score on this possession with zero time left. Fortunately, it seems like that is what they are doing.

I've always been a proponent of the ESPN bias-SEC dominance theory but one cannot deny that the top-tier SEC teams just have a different level of athleticism at the skill positions. Whether it's in the secondary (e.g., diving interceptions) or at wide receiver.

Wisconsin seems to be very disciplined and aware of their strengths, but LSU just has freak athletes everywhere.

Swear that every guy in the south between age of 15 and 30 has one of 2 haircuts based on the shots of the fanbase.  That big shaggy Bieber 2012 thing or a buzz cut.

Which LSU skill position made Wisky's coach completely forget that Les Miles would run a trick play on that punt?  Even the announcers called it before it happened.

LSU is really going to rip off 28 straight points (I'm assuming they'll score on this drive) in pretty much 2 quarters, what a collapse.

Edit: nevermind, nothing to see here.

Wisconsin had this game. They had it.  As I scanned through the DVR to catch up I was shocked.  One of the worst collapses I've seen in recent memory.  They still might pull it out, but I be like dang.
