Evening / Late Night Games Open Thread

Submitted by LSAClassOf2000 on

I was frankly shocked that no such thread was currently up as we're typically so conscious of the slate. No matter, a few notable ones:

Florida State / Oklahoma State - currently 10-0 FSU with the first quarter nearly over.

LSU / Wisconsin - this should be an interesting one. I think it is the only SEC / Big Ten game scheduled this season.

Oregon / South Dakota - Prediction? Pain. No, seriously, the line has Oregon winning by an amount yet to be computed.

Florida will only play 11 regular season games.

Their game with Idaho was just officially terminated (or cancelled) due to the field being deemed unsafe due to all the rain and constant lightning delays.

LSu has no ability to do anything on offense.  The curse of youth at all your skill positions, they are pretty lost.   Outside of a moment of brilliance it's just a big nothingburger offense.  Wisconsin needs to be sound on defense and not let something crazy go over the top of their safeties and really they seem like they should win.

They might well derp one away, but they should be ten point favorites from here on out in every single game. I know their half of the conference is easier than ours but for your crossover games to be Maryland and Rutgers, while missing four of the five best teams in the conference. Oh and the only non-garbage team on the B1G schedule, Nebraska, is at home. You couldn't construct an easier schedule.

OT note: my god this game is going to hit two hours before halftime.

LSU is the 13th best team in the country huh???   Yeah that makes sense.   So thats how you end up with 8 SEC teams ranked in the top 25.

Already up 7-0, just completed a pass on 4th down to move inside the UW 30. Washington is #25 so if they lose, there's a spot open in the polls (just sayin).

Anyone familiar with this No No hair removal device? I'd love something that could keep me from always having to shave the back of my neck.

Intentional grounding seems like such a punitive penalty.  Not only do you lose the down but its a spot foul.  I get a spot foul OR loss of down but both?  Not that horrid of an offense.
