5 plays and the Mountaineers already lead 7-0 over Texas in Austin.
this guy evidently hired to work for AD
Golson benched for violation of team rules. Violation = not being good at QB. Shifty move by Kelly to put Rees in as the starter.
I just saw Golson playing! So much for fake ethics.
Actually, it seems he's doing pretty well. Zona hung around with Stanford until overtime and put up 48 on them, which is more than we ever put up on a ranked team with Rich Rod. Certainly never in his first year with us.
He has an experienced, senior QB, which he never had here. Arizona's offensive improvement is remarkable. The defense though - yikes. They've played five games against FBS competition and have given up 600 yards in three of them.
I've never really liked WV much, but I hope they run roughshod over the Big XII. I hate all the teams/fans that say that this style of play will never work in a real conference. Granted, WV sucks at defense, but their offense can and will score on anyone. Including Texas and Oklahoma. I'd like to see them play Florida/Bama.
Basically run WV's passing spread? And Texas a running one with Vince Young?
Hasn't stopped people from saying West Virginia can't win in the Big XII with their style. Looks like they are doing pretty good against Texas to me.
I think they'll struggle to win in the Big 12 too. Here's how their defense has done so far:
17 total drives:
That is not good. And it's not as if their offense is giving the defense short fields--they're giving up over 160 yards/ quarter.
Georgia's defense not looking so hot again. Florida looks like they could be very good this year. I hate to say it, but they are right up there. ND being a top 10 team is the joke.
Should Georgia fall or SC lose
Those two teams are playing so the probability of that event is 1.
The over/under number on West Virginia/Texas tonight is 73.
The page I'm looking at doesn't say which team that's for.
Heh, nice! I was thinking that before I read your second line...Srsly, only 73? 98 would be my mark..
Maybe Cocky is actually really good this year. Wow.
Nice fake injuries by OSU
Braxton miller has gotten injured in 3 games this year. It's terrible to see any players get injured. I really think that coaching staff should be more careful with what and when they call those designed runs because he's in danger of a serious injury after having recurring issues week after week.
Dear Al Borges...I hope you're watching OSU/Nebraska
We HAVE to steal that QB Counter that OSU is running with Miller. It's just like that delayed HB counter that MSU and ND love to run, but just don't give it to the RB, use him as a lead blockers and led Denard run the whole counter.
I can see why ND wants to join the ACC. Will have to deal with another week of "returning to glory" crap. I hope Stanford can get their shit together and win next week.
Remember when they were gonna come in and roll the Big 10? Heh.
Thanks for helping us again, ineligible Buckeyes.
Well, Ohio sure is doing us some favors.
The trip to Columbus looks dicey this year.
Is all Ohio can win.
