Isn't football much more fun to watch after a win? :-D

(But DST?)
Luckily we get Stanford-Arizona, and Arkansas-S Carolina's not bad. Not the most glorious slate of games...but as I said, I'm enjoying it much more after today than I have the last month...

(Funny thing is, with the LSU win, Arkansas and Stanford winning...all the people who will never have anything to do with Michigan Football again may pull off a victory).

It is especially exciting to watch after Michigan wins AND Central Michigan beating rival WMU yesterday. Best weekend I've had in a while football-wise.

I go to Central and was in the student section last night. It was sad to see the stands empty out after halftime when there was no place to stand in the bleachers at the beginning of the game, especially since we were up 10-8, but i guess the buzz wore off and sobering up in the cold isn't much fun. Regardless, it was an excellent game and a game Central really needed to save our season. Without a doubt, the best, most exciting CMU game I've been to. Nothing like storming the field and singing the fight song with the players afterward.

Sadly, I too grew up south of the border. I hate scarlet and f'ng grey. During my stint in grade school, I bet a nun, the principle, on the game for two successive years. It was the last time i bet on a Umich football game; got my win.

But yes, OU is my other team. I went to both, degree from UM only.

Texas looks awful. Again. UNACCEPTABLE, seriously, you would think that having the pick of the crop of the best players in one of the hottest talent areas in the country would be enough.

A&M runs back the 2nd half kickoff for a TD. Now up 19-0 on Oklahoma in College Station.

Will a win cause my cousin to stop referring to Mike Sherman as "Fred Flintstone"? Probably not.

I have a cousin who played in the 12th Man program in the early 90's who calls me whenever they lose to drunkenly complain about the Aggie program. It basically just ends up with him reeling off all the mistakes the team made that are directly attributable to coaching and never would have happened under Jackie Sherrill, listing all the other coaches who won that week at supposedly inferior programs followed by "and all we got is fucking Fred Flintstone over there hiding behind his clipboard." Then he usually signs off by calling RC Slocum a homo and hanging up.

Always entertaining.

I just switched over to the Texas vs K-State game and did a double take. Also, Oklahoma is losing. Wow. If this keeps up I am thinking that Texas fans might be featured prominently in TWIS.

Texas finally does something right (long bomb TD)...and it's called back because of a holding call that didn't even need to happen (the guy being held wasn't even going to sniff Gilbert before he released the ball).

Well Texas fans, your team is going to lose. 68 yard touchdown pass called back for holding? Yeah, that is not going to end with a win.

I'm a very slight and casual Texas fan, in that I like them over most other programs in the Big 12, but I am sort of loling right now at this. What's Mack's excuse? Garrett Gilbert sucking worse than a lobotomized Ryan Mallett?
