Let's hope there's something as exciting as the previous games.

Alabama could biff another one along the way...Oregon could blow one in the PAC Ten...Iowa's not looking so tough...

How much danger are we in of MSU making the National Championship Game? There's a lot of weeks for people in front of them to lose...and not many more teams that could beat them.

only presently undefeated Missouri gets less respect.

Undefeated Boise & TCU teams get in ahead of a one-loss MSU for sure.

And the one-loss line will be too long for MSU.

Next week is huge for them.

Consdering they barely beat a mediocre NW team this week and still have to go to Iowa, you never know. But yeah, they could very well go undefeated, which is terrifying but, I guess, good for them. Plus, that would prove yet again just how illogical the BCS is.

I wonder if the three unbeatens at the end of the year were MSU, BSU, and TCU, if they would put BSU v. TCU in the championship. On the one hand, it'd be funny, on the other, it'd be pretty embarrassing for the Big Ten to have their champion snubbed for MWC and WAC teams.

Oklahoma, Oregon, Boise State, Auburn, and TCU are still ahead of MSU.

Considering their strength of schedule is relatively weak (no OSU, ND keeps losing), and the fact that they were not highly regarded at the beginning of the season, and their narrow escape against Northwestern, even if MSU beats Iowa next week, they will need lots of help.

I have a hard enough time seeing both Boise State and TCU losing with their schedules (Utah could replace TCU if the Utes win 11-6), let alone all five losing AND MSU winning out.

I don't see Auburn running the table in the SEC, and even if Oklahoma wins tonight, I'm thinking they lose to Nebraska. So if Oregon slips up, can I see the polls not having 2 non-BCS conference schools playing? Seeing how Oklahoma leapfrogged them all, sure. (Though after playing in the little kid's table BCS bowl, watching them get yet another bowl rematch, bur for all the marbles, would be amusing).

Nice to see a few thousand people showed up to see Miami play. Isn't this supposed to be a top tier program? I suppose this is what happens when you move to an off campus sterile pro stadium.....Or when your fan base is 80% bandwagoners leftover from the 90s

They have the 71st ranked defense this year, so they're ready to be exposed....games are won with offense but championships are won with defense.

I think it's a pretty fair assessment to say we won't be winning any championships without an at least above average defense.

Hockey fines/penalizes players for leaving the bench to join a fight. Why don't they do that in baseball? Utley is hit in the back and gets flack from the pitcher and suddenly everyone from the dugouts and bull pens are storming the field. Ridiculous.

Jonathan Nelson of Oklahoma just made the greatest strip of the ball I have ever seen. It went backwards like 15 yards and they recovered it.

Wow, big field goal miss for the Sooners there. Still 17-14 Mizzou.

It was the strippedest strip that ever was stripped. I've seen slant passes with less zip.

Meanwhile, did ABC come up with some insane way to overcome their earlier audio difficulties? I stepped away for a few minutes and it sounds like Brent and Herbie are calling this thing via CB now.

[Edit to provide a little info to kind of answer the posts below - the audio was cutting out entirely for 5-20 seconds at a time, with maybe 7:00 to go in the 3rd. Seems like they have switched to a more dependable but lower-fidelity method of audio transmission, up there.]
