for ASU. With the technology being used to do "360" view of plays using multiple cameras, why can't they triangulate the path of the ball thru or around the goalposts with 2 or 3 cameras?
Evening games open thread
Why not just use a giant doorbell laser alarm between the posts?
Boilers have life it appears!
FUUUMBLE DOMERS!!!! GO PURDUE
It is now official - Texas has yielded more than 400 yards of offense to Ole Miss, so this is completely in line with expectations now. Of note, 250 yards of that are on the ground, so the inability of Texas to actually stop anything on the ground continues. The results shall not shock anyone, I would think.
Might want to flip back to the ND game everybody
Fumble!!!! ND wants to join us on TWIS.
You made me laugh. Thanks
is gonna explode if Purdue score right here.
Fumble with 8 minutes left.
Worst thing about today is I kind of wouldn't mind if Notre Dame wins.
Hey white RB's have grit and run old school style! Thanks Herbie.
Herbie literally said "grit" "toughness" and "old school" in one sentence describing the white running back.
He sure did.
CMU up 21 to 0 on UNLV!
No offense to NDSU, but the slate of games next week must be terrible.
I agree. But I think them going there is pretty cool
the NDSU national champ flag should be happy.
Looking ahead to see what other options there are among the current top 10...
- Alabama hosting Colorado State nope
- South Carolina has a bye
- Clemson plays on Thursday
- OSU beats up on FAMU - yeah, no
- Stanford hosts ASU - might be the biggest game depending what they do to Wiscy tonight
- Won't go to Texas A&M two weeks in a row just to see SMU gallop into town
- Louisville hosting FIU - not really a biggie
- LSU hosts Auburn - could do the other Death Valley, but maybe even ESPN thinks they've done too many Gamedays with SEC teams so far this season
- Georgia hosting North Texas - don't think so
- Florida hosting Bethune-Cookman - I think I found a winner
I'd say NDSU should be a fun option.
ND putting together epic drive, all runs basically to drain clock.
Notre Dame just had a drive that we all wish we could see from us when necessary. Their line was blowing Purdue off the ball and they were picking it up on the ground when everyone knew it was coming.
To seal games and got both of them for tDs
FarmersOnly.com Anyone else see this commercial?
I'm a proud member
I have a sneaking suspicion that Jack Miller gets replaced at center next week. He gets blown back too often.
Agreed and justified. Just not big enough.
that game the way they did was like the final dong punch of the day. It could have been worse, way worse but it still was not a very enjoyable day of watching college football.
Wisconsin is just running constantly into run blitzes and not even looking down field. Not sure what their game plan is here
I guess they adjusted.
finally turning it on. 38-17 at start of 4th. Nice TD by Green.
screwed over big time. Refs refused to spot the ball when they needed to spike it, should have been a delay of game on ASU as well. Thought Wisky should have kicked a down sooner, but that shit the refs just pulled is unreal.
That was probably the worst refereeing error I've ever seen.
But that was pretty damn bad.
Should have kicked the FG when the clock was stopped. Officials still blew it though.
Yeah. Wisconsin shouldn't have let itself be in that position... But the refs stole it from them. Not the only bad call against them, by the way.
Wiscy got hosed. But man Stave almost fumbled it.
Wisconsin/Big Ten just got screwed by the refs and the Pac-12 and I am just sick of this.
Just rediculous Big Ten was about to go 2-2 with the Pac-12 and Wisconsin gets jobbed. Just rediculous.
Capper to a frustrating day in college football.
Umm ok so Wisconsin just got hosed but they also allowed it to happen. Why not just run a play to spike it, why give yourself up to get the clock running you have no timeouts...that said those refs blew that so bad that it's almost unthinkable that they didn't even give Wisky a chance to run another play. Just terrible all the way around.
Wisconsing just got robbed. It should've been a penalty and the ref should've allowed them to play. As bad as I have seen in some time... now we'll get some BS apology, but the loss/win remain for each team (and conference). Total bullshit, that ref should get fined the same way players get fined
That will go down as the worst ref fuck up in College Football this year hands down
from the officials. They literally allowed the ASU to lay on the ball for 10 seconds, and didn't make any attempt to spot it. The refs than run off the field like nothing happened, that was seriously pee-wee level officiating.
Are those PAC 12 officials?
So the last thing was a screwjob, but did Stave ever actually kneel? It looked like he just dropped the ball on the ground to me.
well, but the refs didn't act like it was a fumble, so there is no reason not to attempt to spot it.
I did a rewind looking for this specifically and he does knee the ball.
He didn't kneel. He just set the ball down on the turf. I thought they were ruling it a fumble at first.
Nope, knee's down. Wow.
Since he placed it on the ground....maybe it was a dead ball?
edit: oh shit he knee DID hit the ground....wow refs....wow.
probally won't be held accountable. That is seriously stuff that should have a college ref looking for a new job.
wisconsin got screwed! that should have been a delay of game penalty on asu.
