Mainly creating it in hopes someone can point out a game on tonight that doesn't suck.

One of the more interesting discrepancies in the ND-Purdue game right now is the ability being shown to sustain drives. About 16 minutes or so of regulation play and ND has run all of 12 plays on offense, whereas Purdue has run 29.

covered spread:

Indiana (by a ton), Iowa (not quite over but looks a lock).

failed to cover:

Michigan,Nebraska, Minnesota (can probably cite extenuating circumstances there but it happens so often it's sort of part of their program now), Penn State (not quite over but looks a lock).

ahead of cover but the game's not over:

Illinois, Purdue (still plenty of time to collapse though)

on track to cover: Ohio State

still to play: Northwestern, Wisconsin.

That's not a disaster. You didn't really expect Illinois to beat Washington, did you? Three teams have been much better than expected today, three teams were much worse, the other three have been pretty much in line.

This week reminds me a whole lot of 2010, when we almost lost to UMass after an emotional win against ND that had everyone thinking we had arrived.  This all could very well be a fluke, but I just can't shake the sound of war drums in the distance.

but I just cannot believe that these are going to turn out the same way. Vastly more talent on D than we had then, with an established great coordinator. OSU manages to nearly lose to a terrible non-con opponent every year and still gets 10 wins. I think we're closer to OSU than 2010 Michigan
