Eve of 2013 Michigan Football Season Unbridled Excitement Thread

Submitted by UAUM on

With all the tremendous hype videos recently posted and just 1 day left until the start of Team 134's first game, I cannot find another suitable outlet for my excitement, anticipation, etc. other than this post.  I literally cannot stop the adrenaline - my foot is taping uncontrolably, heart is racing (maybe it's the coffee).  How am I ever going to get anything done at work today...  Anyone else feeling this way?  What are you most excited about?

So here's to another amazing Michigan Football season!  Let's Go Blue!

This thread may be stupid, so mods feel free to delete.

Took today off. Was out late, and up early to go to Secretary of State. Nap time now. Beer, brats and washers later. Repeat tmrw.

And I am just pumped to see M football. There were some great games last night which just added fuel to the fire. I don't know why- but I am extra excited for this season to begin than other, recent, seasons.

It happens every time. The week of the first game, I have a crushing fear and anxiety. But then a day or two before the game I just wake up and am ready.

I've been working all of offseason and waiting for tomorrow. I finally finished my football book of information I've been working on for 6 years. I am so starved for Michigan Football-

*puts on mod hat*

This is not a bad thread at all. I dare say that, for nearly all of us, it is a needed thread because, well, tomorrow at 3:30 PM.

About 27 hours and some change, folks. We do not have long to wait now...

I bet Hoke is secretly (or maybe not secretly) excited to get this thing going.

I have to believe this is the most talented team he has ever had as a head coach. He wants to return Michigan back to the glory days of tough, tough football. I believe tomorrow's game will be a statement game to show everyone that.

Even though there is alot of youth and inexperience all around on this year's team, it will not be an excuse for bad play. The underclassmen will be held to the same expectations as seniors.

I think it's time, I hoping it's time that this football program starts rolling. No more "one year away" talk, I don't even think Brady would agree with that. The expectations should be high and they should be now.

I have to believe that we're still "one year away"; the football program is already rolling, and really it got off to an incredible start with the Sugar Bowl win, but with the cupboard mostly empty post-RR and the amount of incredibly talented (albeit young) depth, I think the real dividends will start to be paid next year. Of course, I've been wrong before.

I'm predicting 9 or 10 wins, just because of the sheer amount of questions on defense. But here's to unmitigated hope and irrational confidence!!!!

for the start of another season of michigan football... not so pumped that i will only be able to see bits and pieces of the game since i'll be working up in the suites.. also found out that we have new big boss this year so my trick of the pervious 3 years of having the live feed from the field on all of my suites TVs and then standing outside one the doors to watch might not work for me so much this year... luckily i dvr all of the games and then watch them sunday morning...

I had a dream last night that Gibbons missed a PAT right before half, making it a Chips 7-6 lead heading into the half.

I am obsessed and need help.

(If interested... the TD was a 10 yard Gardner to Funchess)
