Evan Smotrycz video
I found this video of Evan Smotrycz* that I don't believe has ever been on this site. I'm posting it for those of you who, like me, are wasting time at work and wondering what Michigan basketball might look like next year. The video doesn't show him in a hard-fought game, but a quick release is a quick release.

Just from that extremely small sample size it looks as though he needs to work on elevating his release (it's too low for how tall he is). The one shot he took off of the dribble looked a little awkward. He moves pretty well for his size, but his footwork is a little off. It also looks like he moves well without the ball and understands spacing which is huge in Beilein's system.

Will Smotrycz be playing the 4 a la Novak? I think he would fill that role well, give us a bit more size on defense, and fill the PITTSNOGGLE role in Bee-Line's system.
