ESPNW Spotlights Sierra Romero

Submitted by South Bend Wolverine on

A nice little article on one of the brightest stars on Michigan's campus right now.  It's a little fluffy, of course, but it's good to see that Romo is getting the national attention she deserves.  Also, I never mind having an excuse to remind people that something really special is happening in Ann Arbor, and the time to pay attention is now!

She's actually pretty amazing on the field. Having had quite a few chances to watch her play in person and she's just one of those athletes that are both physically and skillfully gifted.

If you haven't had the chance to see this softball team play, catch a few games when you can.

I don't watch a lot of women's softball, but I was channel surfing and watched BTN for a few minutes last weekend.  I saw the shot they were talking about in the article.  Sierra simply crushed the ball, a low line drive that flew over the fence so fast I thought something was wrong with the TV.  She is a rare talent.
