What is so special about touching a banner? Any high school or pee wee team can do that. How many other teams at any level can run down a hill, with a cannon, and touch a rock that 1) came from Death Valley, CA and 2) means so much to the tradition of Clemson Football? Clemson should be the easy choice.
My question is, how can someone say what is so special about touching a banner when their team touches a rock that isn't even from the local area? It has nothing to do with anything significant to Clemson history, except the the Death Valley part. Basically anyone could rip off their tradition, while I'm pretty sure a Go Blue banner is pretty synonymous with Michigan tradition. Sorry, I needed to get that off my chest.
