Nothing new here but fun to see such full coverage of Michigan football online. Drew Sharp has a segment which will make you revile him even more than you probably already do.
There is a one minute segment on Desmond going into the HOF and then the next video is five questions "all Michigan".
I didn't see it.
Perhaps Sharp should be "content" with retirement.

The OP should know better. There's a search function for a reason. Use the search function, read the thread, add your two cents, and boom it gets bumped back to the top.
So that I understand, if I add a comment to an older post it shows back up on page one?
As long as you aren't looking at the board from the front page sidebar. I recommend bookmarking this "Recent Posts" link.
It sorts things by the most recent comment in the front page posts, diaries, and board posts.

Who is the slap dick from the free press talking about Michigan is content with 9-3 every year and a Big Ten Championship every couple years???? How does this guy have a job? I'm pretty sure as Herm Edwards would say, "you PLAY to WIN the GAME." That makes me sick when journalists think they know what the fuck they're talking about.
Don't ask me about Drew Sharp. I can't stand him. He stutters while belching out his controversial nonsense. I never did understand the Jim Gray style of reporting and I don't respect it either. Stone cold waste of air.

He started out as a decent writer, but his ego got the best of him the minute ESPN started letting him do reports. Now he is somewhere between self-aggrandizing and self-parody.
Unfortunately, Sharp isn't the only one who is self-aggrandizing.
As much as I revile Drew Sharp's commentaries, he is VERY good at his job. Why do I say that? Well, he works for the Detroit Free Press, so about 95% of his audience lives in Michigan, which means they are probably either an MSU or a Michigan fan. Let's be honest, anytime he writes one of his untrue articles bashing Michigan, he probably gets a great response from the MSU crowd and what do we do? We talk and discuss about how bad he is and the lack of evidence for his claims. So from a journalist perspective, he almost wins either way.
Do you really want to call that a "journalist perspective"?
Sounds to me more like an unethical hack making a career out of it.
I don't know if it has anything to do with ethics, I mean we're talking about realistic opinions regarding sports teams. But when it comes down to it, getting clicks and sales is what it's about. If he was covering intense topics I would say the ethics may start coming in
