So this means in Michigan the game will be on ABC? I like how that third map is structured differently than the first two.

is different because there is no mirror on ESPN2, no game on ESPN2 at all at that time.  Which is the problem for anyone roughly West of the Mississippi.

I guess to some degree I can't blame them for not making MICH against UConn, which is a pretty weak game, the national game.

HOWEVA, given how bad both UT and KSU are, Michigan is clearly the most watchable team.

So boo this coverage map...

and although the coverage map shows the Michigan game, I checked with the local affiliate and they are airing the KSU/Texas matchup.

What is difficult for me to understand is the physical location of the TV station is in Illinois, so technically this shouldn't even be an issue... But it is.

Not happy!

Living in ann arbor I rarely have to care about this type of tv coverage map stuff, but Ill be in DC for a wedding this weekend. I loaded up watchESPN onto my 3G ipad, but im still not convinced I'll get the game one I arrive in DC. Anyone know ?

I have comcast thru ann arbor and 5 mins ago I rechecked the watchESPN app and at 8pm saturday the michigan game isnt an option(maybe because its on ABC for me??). Will my ipad update once I get to DC ?

This is all super new to me... Any pointers are appreciated. My wife doesnt realize this yet but an ipad is coming to the wedding and I have all intentions of watching the whole game. Hellllp??

If it was a home game I would have more grounds to skip, but who would have thought it'd be a night game!

Thanks for the idea to try watchABC - I downloaded that already, but didnt think of the idea to proxy. It's worth a shot!

Anyway, I'll have my 3G ipad so worst case I'm checking back on mgoblog for streaming sites! Thanks guys.

LoL too late for this one! Being from A2 i this is a one time problem for me otherwise Id consider it for sure.

My work pays for unlimited 3G on my ipad.... Just need a link and im golden. My goal is to get familiar with every option people are telling me on here and just keep toggling through the options. HOPEFULLY one will work. My risk management is to hit the board up and hopefully someone who is smarter than me has posted a live stream compatible with ipad. Double risk management is to leave the wedding and find a tv. The last one will likely be what happens.

Not feeling great about my ipad options, but love the support on options from everyone!! Keep em comin!

Just for future reference it appears the Alumni Association is changing venues to RFD near the Verizon Center.  I got an email last week about that.  I'm sure people will still be at BB but looks like they are trying to phase over to the new place.  No idea why but the new place is pretty cool and a much better beer selection and they still have a ton of TVs.

according to the michigan schedule page on espn, it lists an ESPN3 broadcast:

http://espn.go.com/college-football/team/_/id/130/michigan-wolverines

however, when you go to espn3, it doesn't list the michigan game as "upcoming" unless you go to this direct link - http://espn.go.com/watchespn/index/_/gameId/332640041/league/NCAAF

still not sure if either of these are confirmation for espn webcast.

Luckily, I'm in a region that gets the game but it's hard to believe CA gives two squats about the Texas - KSU matchup.

Howevah, the board should remember why we're playing UConn (most recall):  we needed a respectable but oh-so-beatable opponent to face to rededicate the Big House.  A Randy Edsall-coached UConn was just that school, but insisted on a home-and-home.  This game is the payback, and UConn did not look nearly so bad a few years back when Edsall was looking like a Pat Fitzgerald-ascendant coach who would put UConn at a new level of respectability.  (I'm confident WolvinLA2 knows all this, - his posts indicate a great perspective on and understanding of Michigan football.  I'm just replying in case some folks on the board wonder "why the hell did we schedule an away game at UConn"?)

WolvinLA2 - I hope you're able to stream the game some way, some how.

It's still hard to believe that we couldn't convince UConn, or a UConn-level school, to do a one-off game at the Big House.  Even though Edsall's teams showed promise, they weren't a prestigious opponent or anything.  Plus, their home stadium only holds 40K, so I don't see how UConn would be able to make more money by hosting a game than just by taking a check from us.
