ESPN: A season with Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines

Submitted by XiX on

Here's an ESPN story about Coach Harbaugh and David Turnley's second book of some really great photographs. I especially love the one of Harbaugh and his sign to the staff while on a recruiting trip and the guys consoling Jeremey Clarke after his injury.

Anyway, hopefully this might lighten up the board and give folks a chance to focus on something other than controversy...

My favorite is the bit about Grant Newsome after the season-ending injury:  "Newsome remained in the intensive care unit for 10 days after the injury, but his mood improved quickly. He was scolded by hospital staff later that night for cheering too loudly as he watched his teammates clinch a win over Wisconsin with a fourth-quarter interception."  I hope he'll be able to make it back onto the field at some point.

We're lucky to have Turnley with our team. Anyone know if he's going to stick around for this season?

It's pretty incredible that a Pulitzer winner came back for a second season.

is a book that will go on sale and continue to promote the brand and the culture within it.

Hot DAMN this guy is smart!  Clearly, he got his degree from some exceptional institution.
