ESPN: SEALs inspire Michigan seniors

Submitted by MGoCombs on

I know there was a previous post about the SEAL training that took place in CA, but this is a pretty cool and in-depth story from ESPN about the lessons learned by Michigan Seniors on the trip. Great to see them growing as men and leaders.

No need to apologize.  I meant when I heard they were doing some SEAL training, I wondered if they'd make the players get wet and sandy, which is classic, from what I've read and seen on TV.  Jump in the cold water, then get sandy head to toe - no cheating and keeping your head up - now try to focus on what you're doing while being cold, wet and irritated.

Seems to me that the football boys might have been at a disadvantage. The SEALS, like most other branches, preach true physical fitness. An NCAA S&C program preaches fitness, but with maximized mass. Doing ANYTHING in sand is tougher when you weigh more, muscle or no.
