Oh man, and it was a horrible last show. He was interviewing Jake Gyllenhaal and made a comment about how Jake loves poker and he corrected Cowherd: "you have me confused with every other actor in Hollywood." Colin then kept saying how good looking he was and apologized to him...so bad it was funny

Firing a guy one week after he gave his 2 week notice,. Wow, way to be tough ESPN. Fire a guy after he declined your offer and took a job with your number one rival. You don't sound like a bitter x or anything.

This is a conundrum. Getting fired a few days before his contract expires almost makes me feel bad for Cowherd. At the same time, he is such a dick I can't blame ESPN for twisting the knife (even if it is complete hypocrisy).

That's right, I'm looking at you Bayless!

I have only listened to Cowherd maybe 10 times ever.  I have listened when I forgot my Sirius or the few times the antenna was broken and I was waiting on the new one.  In that 10 times I remember him saying that he never has anyone on live except for (  ).  I cannot remember the name.  But, it was only one person.

He even went into the details of how and why he doesn't have live guests.

Anyway, I wasn't going to post anything in these threads but it's quite obvious that he's an attention whore and used the Harbaugh interview to generate Cowherd buzz.  Otherwise, would anyone outside of a very small audience even be speaking of his departure?

If no one hated him he wouldn't have been doing his job...if you don't understand talk radio and "shock jocks" then stick to SportsCenter, it's ok.
