“I’m more of a back-to-the-basket type of big man that rebounds a lot,” Swanigan said on Wednesday, describing his game. “I have a Zach Randolph type of game — that’s who I base my game off of. Being physical and playing with both hands on the rim.”
“He passes, he makes other guys better and he can score the ball as well. With that freshman adjustment, it’s all about how quickly you adjust to the speed of the game and the length of the players on the court,” Jordan said. “We know he has good vision and passing ability. Kids come in as freshmen like Trey and they don’t know what to say from a leadership standpoint, so they’re just listening and that’s where the other guys come in and show them the ropes.”
ESPN Open Thread: Heisman Trophy followed by 30 for 30 "You Don't Know Bo"
Who's going to win? The freshman or the defensive player? Followed by a guy who could probably do both, the greatest Tecmo Bowl player of all time, Bo Jackson. Be interested to see what those too young to remember him think of this show.
(Bo on again at midnight on the Deuce if you came to this thread later)
"I love him, he's a great coach, he's a great mentor, he's a great friend. He's every single thing you want a college coach to be, and he does it flawlessly." -David Molk
