ESPN MId-Season Report

That's funny coming from a guy who ridiculed Brady Hoke for saying that Michigan "isn't rebuilding," and said he must not have watched the Gator Bowl etc. Also he made fun of us for being excited about UTL. He's a douche.

Your sig is truly enlightening. Affect/effect is one word I have always struggled with using properly, but I've never seen that acronym before.
Thank you for saving me from further unsure usage of those words.

but it isn't that easy. "Effect" can also be a verb, as in to effect change (bring about).

And, as psychology students know, "affect" can also be a noun.

Less about what this talking head thinks.

to beat Michigan a few weeks ago?
Quite the quick turnaround. Very telling.

"Why is Michigan favored in this?" re: SDSU. If he's correct here (and it would be great), it's a blind squirrel event.

This thread should be titled "Second Half Predictions" because that's clearly what the ESPN article is about....
That being said I always loved Pat Forde!

especially since the espn mid season reports came out a couple of days ago

And, with that, we now have no shot at winning our division. It was good while it lasted, guys.

Pat Forde talking out of his butt and changing his opinion to pander to others? Surely not the Pat Forde I know, the one who posts dumb non-sequitors about horse racing and eateries while putting pictures of "dashettes" on his page and talking about them in a sketchy manner.
October 12th, 2011 at 1:57 PM ^
Interesting re: dashettes.
Forde sleeps with female coeds. Hope his wife (is he married?) realizes that.

Forde seems to be the very reason the word "tool" was hijacked from its original meaning and turned into deragatory slang, but at least he is showing that he isn't afraid to change his opinions in the face of facts.
Then again he was asked to make a "bold prediction," so it is a bit of a "backhanded compliment," because the context is to pick something that nobody thinks will happen.

Forde has us beating Wisconsin in the Big Ten Championship?? Lets just focus on winning one game at a time starting with this Saturday. We can start worrying about the championship at the end of the season we just need to keep winning
