Interesting bit on him leading his high school football team to a state title at quarterback.

Man, this play-off game (a year after I graduated) was the most devastating, hair-pulling football loss I'll ever see in my entire life. My alma mater was winning 18-0 at halftime and ended up losing in overtime. They failed all three 2pt conversions when even one XP would have won the game against the team that eventually won the state championship.

Now that I know Lloyd Brady was the opposing QB, I don't even mind.

Only because it is an honor to meet him, of course. He is, after all, Lloyd Brady.

Great article about  someone that will live in Michigan lore for a long time, I am sure, thanks to MGoBlog. I actually did not know that John McColgan was a high school teammate of his, but it was funny to read that more people knew who Lloyd was than McColgan at the dinner described in the  story. Does Rothstein get the banhammer because he outed Lloyd Brady?

The last guy to do so got shot out of a cannon past Bolivia to death.

Intensity is a lot of guys that run fast.

Not to mention that Rothstein is quite bored by Desmond Morgan.

It's the same old story. Boy finds girl, boy loses girl, girl finds boy, boy forgets girl, boy remembers girl, girls dies in a tragic blimp accident over the Orange Bowl on New Year's Day.

The Lloyd Brady saga was and is still my favorite of all the Board threads.  I mean, it was so f-ing epic that ESPN ran a story on it!!  Its pretty insane when you think about it, about the reach of MGoBlog.  We (and mostly you talented photoshoppers) basically took a random person and made him quasi-famous.  Tremendous!

We toyed with the idea of Facepalm guy but Hoke coming in and changing the tide of the rivalry and selling jerseys in Ohio like hotcakes kind of put the brakes on using him.  Poor fella.  He was "this" close to his 2 years of MGoFame.
