ESPN article on Jabrill Peppers work ethic

Probably nothing new here but great to see him putting in such hard work. I especially liked the fact that seems to be a good student of the game.
That's the Murphy Brown episode, awesome.
I'm really excited to see this kid play. By his junior year, he will be the next Charles. Will he win the Heisman? Likely not, but he will be great for our team.
I don't think enough can be said about the impact of just having a strong work ethic. You always want a guy that's willing to do whatever it takes to keep improving and move the team forward. I'm glad he used his time off last season wisely.
One thing I feel that's been lacking from Michigan teams lately is a bit of "swagger". Feels like Jabrill brings a bit of that swagger back - which can be contagious.
It's been hard to me to accept just how fast and far we've fallen over these last several years. When I was a kid in the 80's, Bo was larger than life and Michigan just seemed to impose their will on opposing teams way more often than not. It seemed weird if Michigan wasn't in the Rose Bowl.
The road back will be long and hard, but I'm confident that we're on that road now.
to all of that. I was born in 80 and from the time I was 1 to 18, Michigan seemed invincible. If they lost, it ruined my entire weekend and the early part of the week.
JH will have the guys ready. I agree as well it probably won't be instantanous, but I can assure you we won't be getting manhandled like we did in the last few years. Thats just not gonna happen anymore
Love the publicity for the team. I feel like I see just as many pictures of kids with Jabrill as I do with Harbaugh. Hope he can stay healthy all year.
is great, thanks. Love it!! I was at the spring game Saturday and JP was all over the field. Heard his name a lot Saturday.
But he missed the INT. I thought winners are the ones who get the chance to improve. He should be doing pushups when he does get an interception.
Dat bull back!!

The next step in his maturation process came in December when former Michigan coach Brady Hoke and 90 percent of his staff left school. Peppers was among the players who attempted to circle the wagons and make sure the team stayed together during a month-long search for Hoke's replacement.
File this under total rumor, but my wife and I had Easter dinner yesterday with the family, one of whom is a college football OC. One of his players was Pepper's teammate at Paramus and according to him, Pepper's told him he will be getting used offensively as well this year. Kinda like Woodson.
Has anyone else heard about this? The only thing I could find was a quote from Durkin last week saying "Whatever's best for the team, we will do". Take the info for what it's worth. I Just thought I'd share it.
So much for the big surprise at Utah.
Thank you, Simone.

Looks like he will play some O per this mlive article: http://www.mlive.com/wolverines/index.ssf/2015/04/jim_harbaugh_loves_ja…
When asked about playing offense: "I can't speak on that yet," Peppers laughs. "We were supposed to have a little surprise for the spring game, but we didn't have it. Whatever the team needs. I'm a team player, and I'll do whatever I've got to do."
Someone wrote about Adoree Jackson and should we put Peppers in a similar situation on the spring game reaction thread. I didnt want to do it as a freshman but now that he has a year to get used to college life, has been in a system a year, and seeing Jackson's success and our lack of speed at skill positions I think it is a necessary thing.
Jackson had 10 catches as a FR so I'd expect that to get closer to 18-20 as a SO as he wasn't playing both sides full time as a FR, just in some games. Jackson is also one of the best kick returns in the country - already. They are comparing him to Charles Woodson even on their official website.
If we had a fleet of speedy WRs I'd say it is a luxury but seeing the lack of gamebreakers ... if Peppers can catch a pass well (which we don't know if he can do)... I think it is necessary to get that guy out there for 5-7 snaps a game on offense this year. Even if its mostly as a decoy. If he can pull down 12-15 catches this year it would be a good thing.
Heard it here first... At least 50 catches
Best 11 on the field, no matter what
Be a great thing for the highest visibility, high expectations player to be that much of an example to his teammates. How many high school rock stars coast through and rely on their natural talents rather than putting in the work to be their best? This kid will be All American before he leaves for the NFL.
I'm eating leftover ham. It's good. Jabrill is awesome!
FACT. Jabrill's work ethic has a work ethic named "Jabrill". I believe Sam Webb confirmed this? Anyone have a link?
My favorite part:
Peppers, according to his head coach, would run through many drills this spring, circle around to the line of his teammates waiting their turn and jump right in the front.
Enjoy him while he's here, folks. I'd be shocked if he's not playing on Sundays in two years.

This is truly exciting to hear, can't wait for the season to start!
Loved seeing him punish himself with push-ups after that missed int.
Whooo, that's got some desktop quality to it. Can't wait to see this kid this season.
can we create in his honor? So many peppers, so many possibilities.
I want one:
sausage and peppers (no onions, peppers covers it all solo)
